That's awesome, The Twilight Zone is such a cool and rare live song, I'd be very interested to hear this version. Right before they dropped the song and introduced an early Xanadu in late April. They only played it for about five months. Live Necromancer is always a treat as well. Just from this video it sounds like you have a great tape here. @@RushArchives I actually doctored it up on a cassette porta studio years ago. I have a much better studio now and can bring the EQ out a lot better. As I’m a musician also. I’ll take to you as soon as possible

@@BokFrak of course it isn’t. I love that song though you’re just trying to say you don’t care for my tribute. I understand. I don’t appreciate all guitars styles either. There’s tons of people to choose from on here though. I love Gary Moore, but I don’t sit down and learn anyone solos note for note. . I just paid tribute in my own way. I think it’s dumb when people just do the same solos again, just my opinion. Why not listen to the artist themselves if that’s what you’re gonna do. Anyway, sorry you didn’t care for it. The timings right as I played drums along to a live performance. I play the instruments. I don’t like computer drums. I started on drums as a toddler. . I believe music should be made by humans. I’m glad it made you feel good! That’s why I play the instruments. My camera broke yesterday so I had to use the phone to record. It’ll be in stereo and I’ll do my best when I can plug my drum , bass and rhythm tracks in. Along with the vocals which I’ll try and get together better. I’ll redo them for the stereo recording. Appreciate the listen and like! I’ll have much cleaner sounding versions coming as soon as I’m able to get the stereo camera. The old one broke which might be a blessing cause I got comments like” what’d you film with? A potato 😂. I spent a lot on those cameras but since better looking ones have come out. Hopefully it’ll get the music across clearly. I’m more worried about that. But it’ll be nice to have a better camera to try and do better videos. As it is I spent yesterday doing videos on the phone trying for not too bad a mix. The actual drumming bass and vocals and 2 rhythm guitars took about an hour and a half. The rest of the day was filming with the phone. I always have to prop it up. Try an find the right place to pick up music. The new camera has a nice mic built in. Which I’d use for acoustic songs. But the electric ones I need to be able to plug the studio into first better sound. We will see. Hopefully it makes the music cleaner! Thanks again. Sorry for the rambling. @@phillipnorman7423 I do the backing tracks. So it’s coming out of my studio. Thanks though. My main problem is taking time to mix it in a proper manner. I usually want to get back to playing instruments. I use a shure SM 57. Mic. I should get something else to record vocals. Sometimes I like the mix. I get lucky. What hardest is the ones where I’m playing live along with the studio. Actually it’d be fine if I just took more time worried about if everything is loud enough. Aqualung I was happy with. For Michael Collins Jeffery and Me another Tull song came out decent I think. All in your mind. A Mahogany Rush tune I was real happy with. All those are just studio recordings. There’s more I liked kinda. May this be love off the first Hendrix album was really fun. One of the 1st things I did on my studio. The live ones I just have to make sure the guitar volume is loud enough to hear. Actually the way I like it and the way people like it seem to be totally different. I did a song recently. A blues thing I came up with. Called “ Crying the Blues. The version I thought the guitar shoulda been louder in has over 2 k views in 3 weeks. And like 50 likes. For me,that’s a lot! So I’ll try and learn from that. I’ll watch what you sent. But as I said I’m doing drums,bass guitars. Vocals. The drums are the toughest mix. I like using my real drums best. I got an electronic kit I play a lot to save time. 2 plugs in and away I can go on playing drums. I don’t like drum machines at all. You can play alot of riffs and I know the time it takes to be able to do that. I am talking about paced phrasing and not feeling like you have to play at 110 mph all the time. Sorry if it seemed like I was cracking on you.

@@roccomancini5875 that was for friends Neil Merryweather and his wife Vicki who had cancer. They was when I got kind of close with him. He offered me to come out to Las Vegas and make music with him after she passed. I was flattered to say the least! He made music. Went to many concerts. Then found a girlfriend. A few years after that he’d passed away also. So I tried to make it a nice one. I hadn’t heard it since I also like the sound of the drums. They seem to jump out more when you keep them panned off to one side. Everyone in a while I’d let a field drift to the other side for a second but for the most part, the drums are on one side like old-school Hendrix.

@@roccomancini5875 I really appreciate it Rocco. The. Fingerpicking in its kind of outta shape. If you don’t use that much it takes awhile to get it back. I used to play it years ago cause I liked it. And I listened to the one version live and hear he’s kinda missing notes as well. It’s still way better than I could ever do it. But people ask why they don’t do it often live. I think it’s a few reasons. Like keeping up on fingerpicking. And having an attentive audience during such a quiet song. I cheated on the part I like best. That little climb. Then again I watched like 5 different videos on how people think it’s played? It’s funny how everyone seems to hear things different I always wind up doing it the way I hear it anyway which I can’t say is right or wrong. Anyway, sorry for the long drawn out reply. I really do appreciate it man. I’ve been kind of lazy the last couple weeks. I’m watching my granddaughter so I haven’t done much music. I always miss it when I’m away from it so I took a night and did a song I really like. Thanks again and I hope you have a great wonderful time on your upcoming trip.!
