Fantastic video,thanks for posting. It used to be a buzzing vibrant part of a wonderful town but sadly the "glory days" are long gone. Kirklees has got to be one of the worst councils anywhere ever. Great somewhat distant memories still in my mind though despite the best efforts of "the inept clowns".

Wonderful piece of film.Just watched the Urban Explorer one,that was great too. I think I played football,early 1980's, on what now looks like an All-weather Hockey? pitch and after the game we all went for a pint in the bar....great days!

I've been out walking today and seen the massive plumes of smoke,if they catch the culprits they should be locked up at their own expense (deport if applicable). I'm surprised the BBC haven't told us it's a Wild Fire due to the Climate EMERGENCY.
