Great video. Recently my Kenmore OTR Microwave main thermal fuse blown while open the door. I put new fuse and system turns ON while plugging the cord. Two thermal fuse: KSD201 120 (has continuity means normally closed) and KSD201 70 (No continuity). I guess all fuse should have continuity. Seller sent me normally open KSD301 70 250V 10A instead of KSD201 70 125V. I plugged that in and connect the cable and microwave turns on with fan. Fan does not turn off and also display turns off right away. What else should be broken? Seller is sending KSD201 70 125V normally open and close both. Please provide solutuon
My microwave doe not heat food--but everything works-I have 2 of those thermal switch in my unit- one has continuity one dosent--if I jump the one that do not have continuity the microwave fan runs continuously and do not let me enter any numbers on the dial--I assume they are ok but something else is broken
Your video Helped me to Solve my GE microwave Over the range Fan is running all the time when I plug the Cord. There are many Normal close in Room temperature on the Thermostats..... but my is Normal Open...at first I thought it was bad.
Yeah if the thermostat goes out it has no way of letting the fan know when to turn off. Glad you got it figured out.
