Obviously sometimes the dad is not the person who should be the father, but having a second parent is definitely for the better. Not everyone gets that second parent, and they make do okay, because they know what life would be like with their bio dad around, but that's not always the case and I think having 2 parents is always a safe bet, but they need to be parents, not scumbags.
