Got some new strings for my old Ibanez GIO bass. They glow under UV lights too, so should look very cool on stage!

@@kimo63kimo1 yeah they definitely are kind of a neon pink more than red. They look way duller on camera too. I just got the blue ones for one of my guitars. The bass strings are definitely better and more worth the money I reckon.
@@revivedfears I live in Germany and noticed that Dr isn't selling the orange ones anymore, have you heard anything?
@@kimo63kimo1 I haven't mate. I just looked online and they are available on UK eBay, both guitar and bass versions. If that helps.

How is the wear after time when you use a pick?
Not bad all things considered. The bass strings fair much better than the same brand guitar strings. You're definitely going to scrape the colour off eventually, but it takes quite a while. I use these strings all the time now, not even just for the colour, I actually prefer the overall feel of them. I also have them on my guitars. Just got a new white set for my Ibanez RG bass.

revivedfears aw :( i see ur referring to him in past tense. did he pass away..? i hope not.. he seems like a true angel. i wish my cat, swifty, was a bit more chill.. lol. she has quite the attitude, but i think it’s bc she was found under a gas station dumpster when she was super teeny and young. i think her mom was trying to move the litter and forgot her /: that’s how i found the cat that lives with my parents now, lol. he’s all white with green eyes, and his name is oliver. i found him at recess under one of the school portables when i was in like 1st grade. he was so little he had to be bottle fed for a while!
@@urcutejeans- yeah, unfortunately he got really ill just a month after this video and we had to get him put to sleep sadly. It was for the best, he was very sick his last few days. He had cancer, I'm so glad I got this video of him because he went downhill really quickly a few days later. That's so cool you saved those kitties, it takes a good soul to care for an abandoned animal! Respect!
