Removal and reinstallation of passenger side fairing for APU access,without air power tools. Tools needed, 1/2 inch ocket wrench, 17mm and 13mm sockets, deep heads, 6 inch extension

The power terminals are located up top deep left side, possibly behind insulation. It's there.

Thanks to you now I know how to remove the side flare.
No idea why they couldn't make these easier to remove. My peterbilt is ridiculous too. Freightliner fairings come off without any tools.
I wish it wasn't so hard. I know Volvo has the kind that fold down and come off fairly easy. KW and Peterbilt could make it easier.

Ha ha. Thanks Jason. I had a tough time holding my phone, but I wanted to show you from the viewpoint you'll have. I hate those videos where I cant see what they are talking about and I'm guessing. I used oneshot to edit the video after my son told me how to do it. I hope it all goes smoothly when you work on it. Save your money. Learn as much as you can. Stay safe out here.

Im sorry I just saw this. I hope it helped out alot. I've had mine taken off a few times since then by mechanics and now they're loose. Amazes me how bad repairmen are at replacing something that they removed correctly.

No. It's still factory.
I've had a few friends delete. The trucks never run right after they're done. Head gaskets seem to go real easy.
Had to replace my fuel sending unit today. Saved me alot of time getting the fairing off. Thank you
