for the stained lace on the cutsew, from the color and placement, it looks like it's from food or drink. i recommend using oxyclean (most people buy the big box of powder and mix it into a gritty paste with water, but the gel or spray might work better in a dorm laundry setting). you can leave oxyclean on for up to a week. try that a few times and see if you make progress if you get really desperate, you can (carefully!) seam rip the lace off and then treat it with bleach. if it works, you can sew it back on, but if not, you can leave it blank or add your own lace. best wishes from a long-ago dormlita
