The shorter wheelbase will definitely help, but it should be noted that the standard suspension didn't change during the refresh. I will preface this with admitting I'm absolutely biased, but the Magnetic Ride Control is one of the best in the business. If the Suburban was only a little rougher than you'd like, the shorter wheelbase is probably enough to turn it around without needing the upgrade. That said, if you are looking to keep it long term, the ride quality is noticeably improved with the Capability Package. I would love to hear from others on it. Everyone has different opinions based on what their specific needs are, but I'm curious to see which packages are the "must-have" for people.

EVs are definitely still a lifestyle change for many. They've come so far in terms of capability and function, but GM is continuing to invest in gas and diesel options for a reason. The voice is definitely inspired by Mrs Doubtfire. It was easily one of my favourite Robin Williams movies growing up! We can sit down and work on the numbers for that even swap. With gas prices, I think it'll depend on whether you bring that Equinox in with a full tank or not! Haha

I just purchased a 2025 2500HD Silverado same color LT Trail Boss with Gas 6.6. I got it got it for 64k TT&L included. If you don't tow a lot (Horse Trailer, 5th Wheel, etc.) the 10k Diesel option is not necessary. It is a great truck and my most favorite one I have had.

The passenger seat is only powered on the LTZ and High Country trims. The LT has the available convenience package that adds power to the driver side, but the passenger would stay manual with either seat option (bench/bucket).

That 3.6 is so fun to drive! I grew up on stories of my dad's 67 coupe and 80 Berlinetta, and my grandfather had a 69 SS, so the Camaro is near and dear to my heart. As always, thank you so much for your support! Top fan!

The 2.5 Turbo is directly inspired by the 2.7! The change brought in more horsepower, more torque, and better fuel economy. They didn't have the second row bench in the 2024 model year, but I'm hearing that the 2025 will bring it back! Thanks for watching!

@liljerry496 As a bald man, I personally don't get the benefit of a sunroof. Feeling the wind blow across my scalp, or having the top of my head look like a ripe tomato, just don't do it for me, haha. One thing I do love about GM is the customization available. There are definitely fewer single options in the Envista, which can make finding the exact spec difficult. I have hope that as the vehicle continues to grow in popularity, that it will bring in more individualized options and packages. Fingers crossed! Thanks for watching!

Lakeshore Blue Metallic! So far, I've seen it on the 2025 Chevy Silverado 3500 and the 2025 Chevy Equinox, with GMC having something similar (Downpour Metallic) on a few of their vehicles, as well. Thanks for watching!

There aren't any running boards on this one, but as someone with the flexibility of a concrete slab, it's definitely something I would be adding to help get into and out of. Thankfully, the Trail Boss doesn't add any more height to it, as then I would need a ladder, instead. The engine options are the 6.6L diesel V8 that this one has, as well as the 6.6L gas V8. It's awesome to hear that you're loving your '23! It's tough to say whether the CVT will make a large impact or not. There's still a large number of people that don't know (or care) about the differences between an automatic and the CVT. I also worked for a few years selling Nissans, so the majority of the vehicles I sold there were all CVT (until you get into the larger SUVs or the trucks). Only time will tell. Get the duramax much stronger and powerful powertrain plus resale value will be out the roof in 15 years becusse diesel will be so strick with emissions in 15 years your current duramax will become valuable

I think you'll absolutely love it! The battle of 6.6 gas vs diesel is a valid one, but the diesel is by far the more common choice in my (albeit limited) experience. The diesel numbers when it comes to power are undeniable. The Duramax is also well known for what it brings to the table. It's awesome to see that you're both passionate AND knowledgeable on them.

I know I had a 24 high country duramax that I stupidly traded in for a Ram Cummins. 🤦‍♂️

They kept the incredible 10-speed Allison transmission, so you're set there. As for pricing, this specific truck is priced at $104k CAD (about $77k USD) before getting into any possible rebates. Thankfully, we're finally starting to see rebates and programs available that can make getting into a new truck like this a lot more reasonable than the last few years.
