I don't understand why but i have met stronger opponents at 1000-1100 elo than this Portuguese player. At the end he doesn't even try to micro with the cavalry archers.

he had cav archers and did not micro against persian knights and camels, thats not going to win any games. Also he should have gone a few rams and not mangos. But you played so well and it proves the point that booming win games if you are safe.

This is a fantastic video! I'm with twice the APM but half the ELO, which perfectly illustrates that good strategy and calculated movements are most important in AoE2. MrSlow videos are just the best, keep it up man! ❤

i think ##### means what a boring strat.. in the least offensive way possible :) Nice your uploading your games, and I know some people like to play like this too, and all that.. but games like this really do feel like a waste of time. Even when you beat the Waller, there is no fun in it, none at all.

Just a few days ago I had a game where my opponent had extra boars and 3 Ponds, while I had 0 ponds AND NOT EVEN A SINGLE EXTRA Boar. Civ matchup was bad aswell....

I once had a game where the opponent had 4 extra boars on his side, 1 extra stone and 2 more gold piles.

Not getting the unique tech for +7 camels or heavy camel. Not making castles or walls. Big misplay going for champions against paladins. No ghbetos. He submitted this game for review but it feels like one if those games you already know where you went wrong.

Oof, is always so sad to lose games 90% won. I think once he did that much damage he could have chilled and went to Castle to hit a crossbow timing. He made a Blacksmith and sent the archers forward without Fletching and that also gave his opponent a shot back into the game. That could have been 3 extra farms, I suppose? Still, very nice to see replay reviews around my elo hahah Still,
