My Quantum Edge has the batteries behind thr cover down in the front. And I cant seem to get the little side levers to move so I can change the batteries.

Do you have a video for the cable removal and placement?

I didn't need to take it to a shop or use a cable you can't buy that i can't buy to change the batteries on the Quantum chair i worked on. I just took out the screws holding the feet support on and it slid right off exposing the battery cover. No power required. There are 2 allen screws that are longer then they need to be making a little harder to remove then necessary so i will shorten them up before i put them back on. Nice try Quantum but it didn't stop me from changing the batteries.

They are screws that hold the back cover on, not bolts!

Would help if you say if you are connecting the adapter to 12 volt or 24 volt. You just said connect to the new battery???? 🤔

How does front panel open I know a q6 chair has a iLevel system. Person believes something dropped and went into power base through iLevel space.

Thanks for the video. Do those motors have any kind of oil in them? Do the motors require any maintenance? The little plug looking thing on the side next to the lock has me wondering what it is.

My daughter was gifted a Q6 edge 2.0. The batteries were dead and no "power jumper" came with the gifted chair. I ended up taking the seat assembly off (remove 8 large allen head bolts and disconnect the wheel base at the rear electric connector) the wheel base in order to access to the batteries. The seat assembly is pretty heavy and re-attaching it is a somewhat frustrating 2 (maybe 3) person operation. On the upside, she is really happy to have some powered mobility.

How do you fix it when it's in Idle Mode?

Where do you buy bearings?

What size batteries ? What amp-rage ?

Do you have to reposition the patient with this mattress

Where can I get one of these jumpers to get tilt the chair so I can get access to the batteries?

So if I just need new batteries and they aren't dead, can't I just tilt it and turn it off then just swap them out? If my hand control has power I assume no need to take the back cover off.
