Wow. We’re very similar. Years ago I broke through one of my life’s challenges and drove 18hrs up to a small CO town that I frequented with my dad. When I got there it was just me and my dog. While she was awesomely I found myself asking now what. I learned it’s always much more enjoyable to do something with someone else…even if you’re in different vehicles on a trail ride. 25yrs later and another failed marriage, I’ve learned I really no longer trust folks anymore with just a couple of exceptions. In 2001 I helped the work associate locate a vehicle that he been looking for which was a four Runner and he was a good enough friend that held my feet to the fire and I went out and bought a JTRD and have been slowly building it up to force myself to go on trips just to get away. I think the reason why I don’t or haven’t taken the opportunity to is the fear of that feeling of when I made that 18 Hour Dr. in the Colorado sitting there and saying now what. I totally get what you’re saying and I suspect there’s quite a few more of us out there. Thanks for putting up this video and exposing apprehensions that make you human.

We like a long term air filter that can be cleaned. As the paper ones have a short life in dirt & sand. A gentle blast from your compressor and good to go. Happy trails & safe travels. 🥾🏔️🇨🇦❤️

glad the algorithm pointed me to your videos. I am a north iadaho boy but born and raised in seattle. so the dang wyoming BDR was tough to watch most of haha. BUT if you are ever near north idaho feel free to reach out as I live here and I can point ya to some fun stuff or join in. I heard you say you were doing the WABDR and you have likely done it already but happy to show you some PNW awesomeness if you are around! time to finish more of your videos

@@yotaclimber my wife has family in Seattle so we go back a couple times a year. I’ll definitely reach out when I do. In upcoming episodes we do the WABDR and it was exciting and intense due to some of the stuff we encountered. I so badly want to explore Idaho. It looked beautiful as I passed through. Thank you so so much for watching! It’s been humbling to meet so many people.

I just stumbled on your channel. Nice video! I have a small off road trailer and always looking for new areas to camp with my two dogs (choc lab and Ridgeback-grizz early warning system). Ive looked at that area near Gardiner for a future trip. Looks beautiful and no snow. Crazy. There's great dispersed camping around Island Park, ID.
