Australian Paper, what a history of screwin' ourselves, Broadford, Spearwood, Weslyvale, Burnie, Fairfield, Petrie, Shoalhaven etc. Only a couple left standing....
My late uncle worked his entire career at this mill. He started there as an apprentice electrician and retired a foreman some 30+ years later. I still have fond memories of their annual Christmas fetes each year.
It was a landmark approaching Petrie for many years, now going to be a University Campus?
