I have that same Fernandes with a maple fingerboard. Very cool!
I think an edward van halen tribute should be a guitarist tribute and not a van halen tribute. Have some big gun guitarist play together.
Yes, the 80's were a great time on Sunset Strip watching live bands, great times indeed!! I even met Ritchie Blackmore at the Rainbow Grill nest door to the Roxy Theater one night. He was just chilling out drinking a beer in one of the booths. I wonder if I ran into Gary Moore during the time he spent there in Hollywood!!
YO MAN i AM NEW ALSO! LOL i ffound ya and subbed!! I met Joe perry once...He was nice and cool..got a quick handshake and autograph...
i have the German version of Lonesome Crow Great Album !!!!! Michael and Rudy love the Brothers im lucky ive seen Uli Jon Roth and the Scorpions and UFO and Michael Schenker Group in concert im glad we have another fan !!!!!
It's Rudolf, not Rudolph.
Hi Darren, I love your Channel, Great News and Awesome Information.Thumbs up.
RIP Johnny Hockey. That happened very close to where I live. People that drink and drive are garbage to me
Stunning guitar dude. My first real guitar was an Ibanez Roadstar 2 as well (still have it). I've never seen an arch top one before. You didn't experience any intonation issues throwing a Fender style neck on it? Mine is a 24 fret so I'm guessing yours was originally a 22 fret Ibanez?
Nice seeing you rocking the Fernandes!
Just saw their show in concord. It was absolutely incredible. Anyone who says otherwise is nuts. Joe absolutely killed it. He was perfect.
Disagreeon Seventh Seal. That song killed,.
Best of all worlds show was great to hear those amazing EVH songs, but Satch just didn’t cut it for me. His was great on rhythm playing but really fell short on the leads for me … Nuno or Vai would have been much better. Just don’t feel Satch man and he did too much if his own style in the leads
Are you okay ?
I thought Seventh Seal was one of the better songs performed when we saw them. Actually the crowd really went wild during that song. And Sammy who is getting close to 80 was great
What are using to get that sound? Sounds great!
I dont believe he is cashing out or in ....Sammy was part of the history of VH! Michael was too.... Great playing.
The Hagar period is for women.
I don't even know what to say about people claiming Sammy is cashing in on VH, for this tour. He can do the same business doing out as Sammy Hagar. And it's the guys who want to perform who played on those records so they hage every right to do. I think it's a great tribute to Eddie too, if Eddie lived maybe this tour would look wuite different with a different guitar and drummer
Michael Anthony is and always has been the greatest backup singer of all time by FAR!!! He carried Dave for his whole career
Totally agree. He carried Save for sure
Sammy is the best singer van halen ever had Roth is fucking completely awful Eddie was way better with Sammy
Eddie was the part of van halen I didnt like. Don’t care who sings
Saw them at the Charlotte gig at the same venue I saw my first concert which was Van Halen in 1995 a day before my 15th birthday. And that 1995 was the best concert I ever went to. I also saw Sam in 2019 and 2023 in St Augustine. I can say with this gig, Sam seems to be having the most fun he has had in a long time. The energy was there. And man, I hate to say it because Eddie was the reason I started playing guitar when I was 15. And I have never really been a Joe Satriani fan but Joe….played some of those songs better than Edward. I know many hate it when I say that but being objective on a few songs he outshined Edward live and in the studio. Not all of them but more than one would expect.
I was so lucky to see Van Halen in 1974 at the Starwood in Hollywood, my ears were ringing for days and the smile on my face was everlasting!!!
@@markbeavers5747 wow that must have been amazing seeing them in the early years
@@darrendsouza9571 it was awesome, I sat right in front of Eddie's Marshall amp and was blown away!!!!
Chris is still playing music! His daughter has a band and if your lucky they play shows in the northwest area
Grew up on that era of QR...great stuff!
💀💀
Ling live Randy Rhoads!
Enough with the "inclusive" bs. They either rock or they don't. A few of those nominees quite simply do not rock!
Not much talk about Pete Townshend, The Who, their gear or their music. FWIW, Pete did not play a Fender Telecaster. It was a Shecter copy- The PT model.
I love Pete too... but remember it's Townshend (with a 'T')!!!
Please at least spell his name correctly! It is Townshend.
Wait a second. -Gotta grab the jib before the wind shifts.
Didn't appreciate Pete Townsend when my friend introduced me to the who .... Way back in the early 80s. Just a phenomenal writer. Not super sure what's gone on with him and some very sketchy rumors, police raid and child porn stuff but his claim was he'd done research for a book ... That he never mentioned to anyone ... Twice 🤔 He was never indicted , so hopefully they found him to be truly innocent, which I really want to be the case.
Oilers are taking it this year.
Pete Rose get in yet? Oh my bad, wrong hall of fame. Lol
Cross was a pretty good guitar player himself
"Pretty good"? You should watch Rick Beatos videos about Christopher Cross, Cross is a phenomenal guitar player.
Murphys music ? In Huntington NY?
Sorry, but FUK THE RAP & ROLL HALL OF SHAME!!! 🤘🌎❤️
Pete is quintessentiel in so many terms of Rock music .. from the beginning. He developed the sound of Rock guitar in terms of distortion, involved sequenzers, the Rock opera, ... how to perform on stage, ... the windmill, destruction ... a fantastic song writer, ... a great rhythym guitar player ... and on
A pioneer for sure!
Enjoy
I got lost in Branford. Visiting from NY, I thought it was Brampton. Don't get me started on kilometers and miles. Great video. Long live the legend of Dicky Betts.
We may never know if these guitars are the real deal.
I thought the
Please gives us something on buckethead, vivian is and Gary moore.
Thanks for thinking about Randy. His mother's school " Musonia" is 4 miles away from me. Where I used to take lessons years ago after Randy passed away.
Yes! Progressive Rock was also called Art Rock. Never prog. Prog is a term i began hearing in the 90's thrown around bands like dream theater. Bruford recently, in an interview, concurred. He called YES Art Rock. Good point sir.
