Huh, I've always wondered about going down McGill, though my first thought would have been to connect to Ambrose/Sanborn rather than PGE. Speaking of PGE I've heard there's some very unfriendly people at the Sherry's end of PGE.

I haven't ridden Coe in almost a year, the landscape is so nice this time of year but i find the trails are just unpleasantly bumpy and not really that fun except grapevine. Tempting to check it out again but when its a longer drive than going to Santa Cruz I'm choosing SC every time.

Nice, I've wanted to connect over to the JNT so many times but intimidated by the closedness of that private (?) road.

I did the Mini on my touring bike (Surly LHT). Now that I have a hardtail MTB I need to get out to more of these! I actually bought a bottle of water off some rando parked at the bottom of Um. I'd been dry since somewhere on Mine Hill. Was the mine not a photo "assignment" on your route? Looked like you sailed right past it.

Thanks for uploading all of your terrific videos. Definitely need to come down there to follow some of your awesome routes, (am up in north bay and ride Marin plus West Sonoma Co and also Humboldt / Mendo a lot). You've opened my eyes to gravel options in South Bay, very much appreciated.
