People will never know what a great singer, with a magnificent voice, that was Maureen Forrester's until you have heard her sing Handel's dynamic aria :: _Scenes of Horror ! Scenes of Woe !_ It is terrifyingly prophetic for our time ! There is only one negative part :: she did not sing the recitative :: _Some dire event !_ Oh, well. Ya can't have everything !

Bruson‘s legato, sonority, musicianship, & impeccable style made him unique among Italian Baritones of his time. Although eschewing barn storming high notes, that were not really what one remembers him for, he distinguishes himself memorably & hearing his bel canto is always a pleasure.

Well, what do you know. The tenor, I've aways claimed was really a baritone, sings a baritone aria better than 'Recondita'. Surprise?
