Launched out of Conneaut Harbor Ohio on Lake Erie. Dad a friend and myself. A three man limit of 6 a piece for 18 total fish. We had a lights out day. The water was choppy, 2 and some 3 footers mixed in. We run dipsy divers out the sides and back of the boat pared with kranx spoon and reef runner plugs. We ran a wire line straight back out 300 feet with a Rapala to get us to our desired depth of...

We used dipsy divers and Kranx spoons. I hope you guys enj...

Ironic this video came across my dash. Was just out last weekend fishing the big Erie trib and lost a few nice ones on break-offs (though I still hooked into over 30 and landed at least 20). I discovered it was a particular brand of fluoro I was using, ended up throwing it out. I also loathe using light-weight line under 6-8 lb test as it'll result in some lost fish, but sometimes you have to use 4-6 lb test in super clear conditions. In stained water (similar to the conditions in this video) you can get away with 10-12 lb. Steelhead aren't nearly as line-shy as some think...I've caught 'em on some fairly heavy line no problem.

    • @samuelsunn2011

HunterDahunter9 Xbox Thanks a lot man. I think the best piece of advise I could offer is make sure there is a decent flow of water when you come up. Check some gauges. If it’s low and clear sometimes it is tough because the fish are easily pressured. Egg patterns work well. Get over a few fish present it nice and I think you will have a good time! Thanks for watching!
