Yeah, I saw the senior women's short program of the six contenders: teo Japanese skaters had an almost flawless short program, and the other contenders made mistakes in their technical component skills: and that is why the short program's scores are so severe because it's really the technical program even though the program is short: furthermore, it's designed for PLACEMENT: and these young ladies are the best of the best according to their ISU Challenger Series and Grand Prix two assignments that they have!! Those mistakes only indicate that they are human beings and trying to step up under pressure; they can do those jumps in their sleep, but the pressure takes a toll on them mentally and physically that caused under rotation or jump is on a quarter, or question ❓: and it only means that they would have to make some adjustments coming in the Free program!! Thanks for sharing though!!

I did not see the Grand Prix de France performance with by their standards was below standards. I saw their Grand Prix China and they had different outfits. Thanks for the side by side comparison. The exhibition is clearly more defined as robots coming to life. Their competition is not clearly as defined in the same way. I like both (I heard some really are not what they like), The outfits they wore in Grand Prix and I think it worked better since it is not literal. Just my opinion.

I assume the last position wasn’t low enough but what other level did she lose? was the death drop not big enough to get credit or something?

She’s a beautiful skater but for whatever reason, it feels like there’s a disconnect from her to the audience. I’m not sure why but it feels like she’s just going through the motions.

Actually I saw this life at Skate America and the crowd consensus (discussed with several people around me) that this did not work. It is like someone going through their playlist trying to find the right song. I do hope they cut it down to 3 songs.

Thank you for doing this. Honestly they suit the 1950s music I kind of wish they had just stuck with that. Let Fear and Gibson do 70s which suits them and let their nearest competitors have the 60s music.

For some of these UR calls, I don't see an UR even on the slo-mo replay. It's so hard to see in real time. I honestly hate the q call. I thought if the jump is on the quarter, the benefit is given to the skater.

In the moment, I can never tell if a spin is a level 3 or level 4. Am I supposed to be counting rotations? Am I supposed to be watching out for if a skater is "down low enough" in the sit spin position? It's so difficult!

Kaori has 3 transitions in that spin Liu has 2 transitions.

Good recap but someone help me out and please tell me why some are considered level 3 and some are level 4 between the partners. I know they aren’t doing it the same, but what is not done right by the partner who got a level 3?
