A renewed appetite for decoration and color flourished throughout Britain following the prolonged trauma of World War II. Forward-looking and optimistic, post-war designers responded to the freedom of the 1950s by creating vibrantly patterned home furnishing fabrics and fashion textiles. These designers, inspired by architecture, nature, and abstract art, pioneered a progressive contemporary st...

wow
You learn something new every day, I love this home and will definitely spread what I have learned about Albert Frey and the history of his first home ❤🇺🇸, these are the homes people need in flood areas !!!!
Outstanding, I love this home so much what amazing work 🇺🇲⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐❤️
Love the coffee mug. Where can I get one?
I used to live next door to him in Palm Springs. He was a very nice and interesting man. However, I do not care for his style of architecture. Apparently, the was also a Nazi. So, there's that.
A different Albert Frey was an SS officer. Not the architect.
Please leave Nature ALONE.
I love Jim Isermann! I've been following his work since he did the woven three-dimensional cubes in rainbow colors in the 1990s. I'm happy to see that he's getting well-deserved recognition.
00:29 Great stuff, keep it up!
No way this is Nick's brother......
cuz
Everyday I walk past the Aluminaire House as it is being rebuilt next to the Palm Springs Museum. When I need a break from work, I stand at the corner and watch more of the structure come back into form. I am fascinated by the process of architecture, design and construction and this house has thoroughly captured my attention. I feel the emotional expression in the Aluminaire House now that is near completion. The structure has a soul, a unique essence that are more than the sum of the materials used in this unique design.
I would love to visit, it's going on my bucket list 🇺🇲
Zero stereotypes in this piece...
I would love to get a list of all artists mentioned in this conversation.
pretty meh. And yet the city wants to give this guy half a million to sculpt a limestone anus? Why?
such important work
dope asf
😁👏🏾♥️
❤ 😊
Gorgeous. Love her work.
The artworks are beautiful, but like the message of so many other artist, her message is a total obscure nonsense. The less she speak, the better.
Lol you’re not wrong
Great Robert! Thanks to you and Jeffrey for doing this..
She is living the dream I had but not there yet. I had a large abstract painting called Raven's First World accepted into a show at the museum in 1996. Flew it and myself and sister down from Fairbanks Alaska to attend. It didn't sell had to pay to get it home again. Still painting of course. Can I extend an invitation to Mr Markovitz-come to Alaska...
Hello David, Mr. "City of Angels", How are you? I'm still in NYC, but am going to move to PS when i "get old" soon !! I'll have to tell you the story of that beautiful woman in a long sequence dress comes to sweep me off my feet to take me on a personal tour of "her" Art museum in PS during A 1930's Spring Gala Fund Raiser for the museum ! I dressed in that eras clothes jus
Very interesting.
Great to see and hear the thought and process that goes into these beautiful works.
We both loved listening to these great men talk about art in the museum.
Loved this-would love to see more of this kind of conversation with Steve
Awesome 😍💋 💝💖♥️❤️
Excellent presentation. Love her abstracts. I bet her landscapes will eventually come back in to fashion.
I Love Jim Isermann
His work is very inspiring. Enjoyed it immensely.
