Great video! I can identify with the desire to have every piece of art be a grand masterpiece. I'm learning that art takes time, patience and experience. That is why I'm changing the name of my own channel to 'Learning to Fly'. Eagles aren't born flying lol! Thanks for the tips!

I have the same struggle with do I purge it just sort and put away - my problem is I have too much of some things and really need the space. But then I need space to purge that I don’t have because I have too much! Insanity and chaos - it just never ends! Lol You’re doing a great job though!!

And I definitely enjoyed some guest appearances by cute guinea pigs. I feel like I'm watching myself organize. I also have to see my supplies and I need to be able to reach them while I'm sitting at my desk/work table.

I have a lot in open boxes or seethrough plastic boxes.The things I don't see,I don't use😅 I LOVE to organize my art stuff,because I can look at and It makes me happy😂

Oh my gosh, Claire! Ya did so much! This felt all too relatable 😅 Organizing an art studio space and making it workable without it feeling overwhelming and overstimulating is a delicate balance! And I’m assuming you’re also filling orders in this space as well. It’s a lot to handle and I feel ya, sis! I could so feel the emotional roller coaster! But you made incredible progress and the rest of it will come eventually and everything falls into place (why it can’t just fall into place on its own, we may never know)

I'm trying to conjure the will power to tidy up my craft room and I've been looking around videos to get inspired but I found myself with a mortal question every time i move something in there: What can be placed in a shelf or on my desk that gets direct sunlight (mostly after noon), what can be over an area where it gets mostly indirect sunlight and what has to be in the shade at all times? 🤔🤯 that limits what goes where in my tiny room. Lets say markers (water, alcohol, acrylic, permanent), gel pens, alcohol inks and ink pads, stickers, glue and do i have to consider if any of these are in a transparent container/barrel or not? 😭 HELP! 🤣🥰 This ADHD brain of mine refuses to clean that room and i really need some help figuring out how to do it. Loved the end result as I do have too see everything or else they will be placed in "object permanence" mode and never be thought of again 🤣

It was so fun to watch your process! My space looks very similar. I love to use all the things. I finally took out so much and put them near my hands. It works so much better. But if you’re ocd don’t come to my studio hahahaha

My style is chaos, then overwhelm, then creating. It gets out of control easily. So I am also reorganizing my studio. Excited to see your studio.

That was actually a cool little doggy you painted. Great advice! I'm working on not being a perfectionist. When I started my woodworking art hobby I used to get heart palpitations while practicing 😢 Now I am better enjoying the journey of learning and embracing, as Bob Ross would say, happy accidents. I have the same struggle. Doing mixed media requires many supplies and I just don't reach my drawers enough. Frida is so cute! She looks so chill, unbothered and confused all the time!
