Hi, Thanks for checking out my channel. I'm Joe Williams and I play the violin with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. I started this channel in May 2020. The coronavirus epidemic has stopped many orchestras and performing arts group from doing what they do. I want to keep playing, and thought if I started a channel, I could still perform pieces, albeit on a smaller scale than a full symphony orchestra.

I hope to record a variety of music for violin and piano. My wife, Catherine, is a pianist, so I am hoping she will appear not only as my accompanist, but as a soloist herself. (Watch this space).

My aim is to attract music lovers, to whom concert attendance is no longer an option because of the pandemic, and I hope to put out at least 1 new video each week.
