Great Catches and they upgraded the platforms with the fence on both sides and then on the right upgraded the concrete into the road of asfalt of Breakneck Ridge because normally with full of concrete in 1980s and 90s

I’m curious, why does Metro North use CT rail cars (the red cars) on the Hudson lines? I thought those red cars are soley for the New Haven line?

There used to be a station building on that bridge over the tracks at the south end of the platforms.
I was young and remember that structure which used to be the ticket and waiting room. I forget which year it caught fire. It took awhile before the structure was demolished. I’m 61 years old and remember the low level platforms existed 😅

They should've just added additional (4) trains to replace the (3) between New Lots and Utica, and have the (2) run to Flatbush like normal. That or have the (5) run to Flatbush at the very least.
Good shots! Where are the clips on the hill taken? It looks like a very steep ramp. Is it just an illusion because of the road? What is the slope on it? it looks very steep
Thanks! I’m unsure of the slope but I do know that the location is called the 97th St Portal, on Park Avenue.
