Wrapping the #surlycornerbar is the next task on the list. I have had to make the very difficult choice between tan and black bar tape, decide the best path around the "hoods" and tidy it all up. I think the result is smashing, hope you agree. Not much left to do on the #straggler by #surly now. Enjoy.

The #surlystraggler #bikebuild has a great set of #TRP Calipers and rotors. It has a wild #surlycornerbar and now it needs a mechanism to connect these components to create a functioning environment to manage forces that will be created by the motion of the machine. We are getting gritty with it now. Part 5 sees the sprocket position marked out on the HG hub. The chain is then fitted and adjusted. The dropouts on the Straggler are a work of genius really. BFD has just unboxed our brand new #surlystraggler frameset by #surly Installing the headset seemed like the best place to start, I chose a beautiful Tange Technoglide sealed bearing unit. Where to next with the build? We all have to wait and see because I don't even know myself. Enjoy.

i never use tubeless, i only use thorn proof tubes and tyres, that way if you get a flat in the middle of woop woop, all you do is patch it or change the tube and off you go.
