Thank you! It took me a couple of minutes to learn, and I guess an hour or so to "master". This is a pretty simple pattern, and I'm not actually that good of a piano player
Hey, dude! Do you still have a file of that MJ Medley you made a while ago? It's removed from RUclips (sadly), and I've missed it. :/ Could you reupload it somewhere?
Unfortunately, I don't have the original audio file anymore. It was on my old computer. I could try to download the video from RUclips (since I still have access to it) and convert it into .mp3. It won't be the best quality, but it's at least something.
That’s amazing news! However if you could download the video as it was in its original state (an .mp4 file) you could probably get it back onto the internet through Dailymotion or something similar. It would be nice into hear those tunes again. Tbh I’ve never heard anything like it. A medley that’s blazing through songs without ever losing the beat and while doing it in an awesome way! I’ve been trying to recreate it in Ableton and it technically worked but it just isn’t as great since the warping effect (which is needed to remain the beat) messes the audio track up for some reason and makes it lag, so that it’s painful to listen to. :/
@@LonixenSvixen I'll look into it. Will upload and share the .mp3 as soon as possible. Thank you very much for the nice words regarding the medley itself. Honestly, I'm not really fond of it anymore, I think I could recreate it and do a much better job and make it sound better. But the idea is there and I managed to match them all together fairly well. As for your recreation attempt, you could try different warping modes and see what works best. The quality of the audio files could also be a factor, but I assume you use some sort of lossless format or good quality .mp3's. Back when I created the medley, I used a program called Sony Acid Pro 7. Which even to this day has a good quality warp function. Maybe try to mess around with that, but Ableton should be able to do the job well. I don't remember the bpm I used. I think it was 120. And I also used a random disco drum loop I found in a sample pack that continued throughout the whole medley. With a few cuts here and there. Hope this info can help you out.
