100 Yard Archery Shoot Out With Crazy Ending
Просмотров 1984 года назад
Cam and Steven have a 100 yard shoot out with their bows with a crazy ending.
Can't believe you ended up with such blurry results with the Maven. They are much sharper than the Diamondbacks. Looks like a defective pair tbh.
makin elk tonight!!
I realize this is an older video review but the best bangs for the buck currently in affordable binoculars with crystal clear glass which are better than the Maven and Vortex are the Athlon Midas UHD especially in their 8x42s Gen 1 for just over $200 and Gen 2 mid to upper $200s. These Athlon Midas UHDs are at least 2 levels higher in quality compared to the Vortex and Maven. Other fantastic binoculars are the Kowa BDII XD 8x32 and especially the 6x32 for under $400 in the mid $350s. I don't yet own any Maven brand products yet but plan to buy their $450 Maven rangefinder during their next sale since it's got a lifetime warranty even on their electronics and best in class glass with 7x magnification.
It's very obvious this guy is bias and purposely did not focus the Maven properly to make the overrated Vortex brand seem like a much better quality binocular. I myself own a pair of Carson 3D's with ED glass and they blow the Diamondback and the Maven's the hell out of the water. Don't fall for the overrated BS from Vortex, Maven, Swarovski, etc. when it's the quiet brands like Carson that make those fools look stupid.
Glad someone else caught this too. 100% correct. I also have the 3D Carson's and yes they definitely are above the V.D.
Going to cook up the last of my elk steaks today, so glad I found your post! Love the taste test :)
Best side by side review I’ve seen. Very helpful. Cheers
Excellent review the photos are very helpful👍👍👍
the big question is : why you out of focus on maven in some pictures ?
You probably asked the smartest question out of the entire comment section. It's very obvious this guy is bias and purposely did not focus the Maven properly to make the overrated Vortex brand seem like a much better quality binocular. the 10 feet more fov doesnt cancel anything, thats nothing, ffs
Sorry I had to stop playing the video after the children were making too much noise. You really need to find a way to distract your children or have your wife take them to the park and give you time to make your video. You seemed to be knowledgeable and have the personality to do well. Nothing against children.
You must be a blast at get togethers! What a tight ass snow flake.
One of the best reviews. When we watch a review video, we want to see through the binoculars, which is this review all about, and the comparison makes it perfect. 👍👍
Damn good job!
Too much salt in the rub
Evenstephen83 how do you know? you didn't taste it!!
The best elk steaks I’ve ever had! So moist and tender!! Thank you!! 🤗👍
Your not in focus on the mavens in some of those pictures.
I don't understand, why do you use rocks and snow? Why not print some letters on a piece of paper? Human eyes are much more sensitive e to letters. You don't see the doctors use rocks and snow during eye exam, right?
I have a pair of maven C1 lovely clear binoculars had them 6 months now. Not a single issue with them. Some guy said they fell apart and returned them. If you want a shitty pair of binoculars try Hawke. Had 3 pairs 8x32 8x42 and 12x50 all fell apart within a short period. The Maven B series binos are rock solid, and a joy to use. I have them in the 8x30 configuration.
The Nikon P7 8x30 for under $175 are much better binoculars with wider FOV for a lot less money compared to the $550 Kowa 8x30.
Hawke is ridiculously overpriced Chinese junk.
Got my C1 10x42 today, and sent them straight back. Diopter adjustment been way off, 15mm to the left from zero position brought same focus on both barrels. Right barrel is not focusing straight away when moving central focus ring (right side has a bit of clearance), as the left barrel does it right. So sharp image may happen, depending on luck when focusing. This I have seen on other chinese made binos too, so Maven is not better here in any case. The image quality is very nice when sharp, I would like to own this binos in version well working. But it seems to be a good luck purchase, as most chinese produced binos too. Maven is not better here, and I will not order more binoculars from Maven, cause there seems no quality check to really happen. Very disappointed about that.
Ditch the oil and use beef tallow or ghee
Love eating Elk Meat❤️
This is a great review!! Wish it was a more comparable review with the maven C3 12x50 vs 12x50 diamondback because Im torn between the two!!
I’ve been wanting to try elk so fuckkng bad! Definitely doing it this way when I get my hands on it
Sounds like a great way to dry out a perfectly good elk steak. Sear it first to lock the juice in.
Cooking it at such a low temp actually makes it lose zero moisture. I prefer this way because I think you get a more even cook throughout the meat. Thanks for your input though!
@@broadsideoutdoors5075 ok I’ll try it but if it drys my steaks out I want my money back 😉
Amazingly moist and tender. I cooked the steaks on a cast iron griddle in the oven. Flipped them after 15 minutes. Then another 5-7 minutes before pulling them out! So good!
Did you even watch...
Definitely trying this !!
Used vs Brand New, and they don’t have matching specs. This is not science. Let’s see some C3s and HDs compared or C1s and Diamond Back non-HD. And get the same objective lense sizing too.
Who would not go with the vortex?
A lot of people actually.
Me. For sure!
Thank u
I guess it's not fair to compare between 2 different objective lenses 42 VS 50 there are a huge difference!!! Also, you should mention the zoom power for each of them!!
Hawy Customer Service you’re right, there is a difference between 42 and 50mm, but it will be mostly in brightness due to the amount of light that is being let in. I did mention that both pairs of binoculars are 12x zoom, which is the main thing we were trying to show in the pictures!
Keep in mind that no camera looks a 100 % like the view trough binoculars
This is true but I still hope the pictures helped!
@@broadsideoutdoors5075 yeah thanks
I get what you mean but damn, that typo is insane
One of the most honest review/comparison I saw.
Great review. The first review where side by side pictures are taken through the binoculars.
Thanks for the review. I myself to the diamondback HD 8x32. The are just unbeatable for the money. And the are small enough so you can bring them on your person every where!
Great job, was actually wondering between the two. Think you helped me save some money!
Looks bomb!
