Hi! So I don’t always notice a big difference with/without base coat in terms of longevity or the nails chipping, but I do think my polish applies nicer on top of base coat. I suppose if you’re using four coats of your base shade that would probably work as a base too in that sense. If you’re making a set for yourself you could try doing one hand with base coat and one hand without and seeing if it makes a difference for you! 🥰

So to be totally honest I didn’t budget anything and even now that I’m set up I don’t really have a set amount I spend each month. I think you could get everything you need to start for under $500 but you could easily spend more or less than that depending on how much you want to mix colours or create the nail shapes yourself instead of buying lots of tips etc

I’m registered as self employed, I’m not sure how business licenses work outside of the UK. I’ve been self employed for a few years now so I just set up a website and socials and this is a new business venture of mine. I’m not sure if you’d need a license for press ons where you are, I’m in the UK and you don’t. yes!! I did two coats when I made the nail set but these swatches are only one coat and then one coat of the glossy top coat! SO pigmented! 🫶🏼

The gel I used was kokoist black non wipe gel and I just used a liner brush from shein to do it ☺️

I also thought that it would stick but it didn’t and worked really well just make sure that the sponge does have pigment on it also you can cure it for 120 secs its a really nice hack
