Thank you for always being there to offer us the truth.

God and Jesus Christ personally appeared to 14-year-old Joseph Smith in the Spring of 1820. Standing in the air beside our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ answered Joseph Smith's question, Which Church should I join? the Savior answered, Join none of these, for they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They teach for doctrine the commandments of men, having a form of godliness, but they deny the Power thereof. The reason for Joseph Smith going into the grove of trees that morming to pray for an answer was because there were three large denominations having Revivals in the area at that time: Baptist, Methodist, and Presbyterian. Joseph Smith was called by God long ago to be the Prophet of the Restoration in the latter days. Joseph Smith received the Lord's two Priesthoods, Aaronic and Melchizedek, from John the Baptist and Peter, James, and John in 1829.

I believe God guided me here because this helped me so much and has been something ive thought about for years. Expectations almost killed me because not meeting them can make you really hate life. I didnt know God then. Or i did but was in denial. I dunno but have faith and trade your expectaion for appreciation and your world changes instantly. Thank you for taking the time to speak.

Pastor, as you may know the door to salvation is narrow because people refuse to simply lay aside all self efforts to see God, and refuse to simply believe (trust) and receive the free gift of salvation. Blessings!

Pastor Wayne! wow you moved to Texas! I miss our Bible classes. They were special. I am still working on getting my life together, and with COVID these days, I was excited to eventually go back to Church. Sad to see you are so far away now. We've had some incredible conversations during our short time that we got to hang out.
