No no take the springs out and add a small amount of grease to the shock. Also work it and work it. Eventually you’ll have great droop. Don’t need rebound if crawling.

This is a fine mod if you're just trail riding. But the minute you try and do any real crawling, adding height will hurt your performance. Lowering the vehicles center of gravity is what gives a crawler its spider like ability to climb steep hills and things like that. The ground clearance you get from your links, skid and tires are all you need.

Major (minor?) drawback: it reduces shock travel cuz the small spring fully compresses and prevents full travel.. just sayin.

Are you able to move the course around without stuff breaking? I got crafty with some spare stuff I had around. I did several layouts on 3/4" plywood scraps which were close to about 2'x3' . They are sturdy enough and small enough for one person to carry into and out of houses without damage or distortion. I can take several of these sections over to my kids' friends house for the night and then bring them back home the next day. So they are nice a mobile.
