You can't with addressable devices as they work from data from the protocol so only will work with Apollo protocol panels or as shown here the Apollo loop tester. However non addressable such as conventional will work on a battery as it works on voltage changes.

@mssecurity1930 So no way at all to make them work? What about if I use a DC output mains power supply? I'm just looking for the sound. No smoke detector will be added

@@printerhouseuk9390 addressable Sounders can only be sound from an compatible panel running the same protocol I am using an engineer's loop tester in this video which runs Apollo.

@@printerhouseuk9390 I recommend you purchase a conventional sounder which then can be activated by a 9v battery

@@mssecurity1930 I have a keypad the same as urs in the video . I followed your instructions and was turning the numbers down and it's made no difference. I'm wondering if I turned down the wrong one.

@@mssecurity1930 master volume was on 7 I put to 4 and is still so loud. Was that the correct one to turn volume down . I dont think it made a difference.

@@pen9500 log into engineers go to volume settings and there should be a setting for alarm turn that down other wise you can turn the volume down in keypad settings. However I wouldn't recommend Turning the volume down too much as the alarm is there as a deterrent for intruders so the louder the better and you also want to make sure you can still hear entry exit tones.

Hi Sir If you dont maintain the system then you would have to contact the company who holds the contract. If you are looking at taking it over then you would need to make sure it's not under contract with another company and then it can be backdoored. However due to the nature of this I wouldn't be able to offer assistance here and would recommend you contact pyronix regarding takeovers. I can help you with an anticode but that's all I'm afraid.

@@mssecurity1930 the install is about 9 years old and has definitely not been maintained needs a lot of working doing like contacts held on with duck tape. speaking to the customer he fell out with the installer just after it was installed and somehow the system still works just fine apart from needing an eng reset.

@@mssecurity1930 no so there’s a fault on the panne needing eng reset, think it may be a tamper from one of the contacts. 😂Need to back door the eng menu, change the engineer code and reset the tamper fault.

@@mssecurity1930 from memory, you power down the whole unit battery inc, disconnect bell tamper, power back up inc battery and hold yes when date and time comes up. Just can’t get through to pyronix as it’s the weekend
