They are local to where I live...a great bunch of Lads
A band called The Mistakes were around in 1977-79. They were a Bromley and South East based punk band , managed by Kevin St John at the Roxy Club. Some vintage tracks soon to be released on Bored Teenagers collection. They actually supported UK Subs at the time. Drummer for a period was a chap called Max Splodge ( who he?) Guess it was a common name to call a band!

my favourite band
Put on a punk weekender on the Isle of White, invite loads of bands from all over UK and give yourselves plenty of time to promote shit out of it so its a good line up an well promoted (which will bring the punks to the island). Then when you're booking tours peck all the bands you had at your weekender to sort you out a gig in their town. Best thing about the punk scene; we help each other. What other scenes do this to such an extent?!
