Honestly the fact that Robert doesn't have a last name would've been a great clue that it was Archer still in a coma. Like of course he wouldn't think up a last name for him, because why would he? And then it just wasn't. Robert could've been a big bad, and just wasn't. So many chances to make it right and they just never did. So much missed potential. Thank you so much for commenting! You know, I didn't even consider that! I saw it was around the time Jurassic world came out, but it's not like Adam Reed has ever referenced obscure series of any time period. That honestly makes way more sense than the indomitus Rex, and makes me appreciate the episode way more!

Kekkaishi is definitely worth going back and reading from the beginning fresh and it's a perfect fall reac. Hozuki is 10,000% a personal choice and I honestly don't expect anyone to enjoy it, but I dunno it just hit me different. I actually had Vampire Hunter D on my initial list! It's phenomenal and I should've atleast put it in Honorable mentions and just totally slipped on it. I genuinely didn't even think to add Guyver since I'm used to those kinds of stories, but you're absolutely right that would've fit great! And i think I know what you're talking about with hide and seek. The one with all the kids running? I think it's called Kakurenbo, which is also a phenomenal quick watch! But I could've also said stuff like VIRUS, Tokyo Gore Police, twin star exorcists, Claymore, Witch and the beast, etc. It's kinda funny that even with 31 picks, there's still way more you can choose!

It's been years since I read it, that was back around when...it was some time after the lead met the lord of a land and some secret/hidden fight stuff was going on. This was back in around 08-09 so I'm not even sure which chapter it was I would've left off with. And yeah Kakurenbo was it. I remember first seeing it on Adult Swim, and used it for some Halloween time stuff a few times since. But yeah, there's a lot of stuff you could've added. Just depends on how much. Though Vampire Hunter D and Guyver absolutely should've been at least in honorable mentions. Especially some of the episodes of the old Guyver OVA.

I'm working on the script for the Ultimate Muscle review and I've been trying to wait to drop it since the newest arc of 2011 has the time choujin and makes a ton of references to nisei. I didn't want to drop the review and then have it be a bunch of wrong information, but it is coming!

I’m not sure what all genres you plan to cover but maybe some older Cartoon Network stuff like Generator Rex or maybe older live-action shows. Either way I’ll watch what comes next your cadence was very entertaining
