Indian curry isn’t actually Indian. It is British. It was created by Brits during the British RJ, when they experimented with mixing local foodstuffs, creating curry.
I meant the Indian Raj. I couldn’t fix the error because Safari is rubbish 🧐
No, I actually meant the British Raj. There, got there in the end ☺ blame it on the cider I had at the pub tonight 🤡
oh my god, oh my gosh, oh my god, oh my gosh, oh ho, oh my god, oh my gosh, oh ho...................................
Thank you for sharing your experience! Please what is the name of the restaurant you ate that salmon meal? Planning on doing similar route for Kurama/ Kyoto :) Thank you :)
82 Kuramakibunecho, Sakyo Ward, Kyoto, 601-1112, Japan Its called Katsura I put the address above We stopped by here for lunch because it was one of the cheaper choices
@@countrymouse.ld51 Thank you so much for getting back to me!
1:31 Translation if you were curious: REMEMBER TO KEEP YOUR DOG ON A LEASH Stryn 1.april - 15.october If you see a wounded/dead animal Contact "beitelaget" (It's a group of local hunters who retrieve dead animals) LET THE ANIMALS ROAM THE FIELDS IN PEACE
There are more than 2500 glaciers in Norway, half i the southern part and half up north. The 3 largest ones are in the south. The one you visited, Briksdalsbreen, is actually an arm of the Jostedalsbreen - the largest glacier in continental Europe.
Oh wow! We didn't know that! It’s so sad they are melting away
@@countrymouse.ld51 And unfortunately at an accelerating rate. That's global warming for you. If you look at a time montage of pictures of Briksdalsbreen since the 1950s you can see how far it has receded. In 1950 the glacier reached to about where you were filming from, far down into the valley.
love your adventures in Norway. always nice to see people enjoy our motherland like you do :D
Glad you like them!
Love your videos, even more so for visiting my favourite place in Norway, Loen. Nice trip up to Rakssetra ;-) . As a Norwegian, my heart grows three sizes larger from such positive reviews. Keep'em coming. Also, you are a super-cute pair <3
Thank you!!!
Great video ! 🤗 Lovely views and you guys are such smiling and positive people ! 🤗 I was a surprised that the owners of the rowing boat did not provide Life Jackets for you, as one is big on security in Norway. Water from a glacier is very cold, so even good swimmers would get problems fast if they should end up in the water...
If you look closely they got one red and one yellow life jacket. They just didn't use them :-)
@@thunderbird7780 Yes ! 👍 I saw them now ! 👍 Norways "security culture" did not fail... 😉😄
Yes! We had them right next to us the entire time :)
You are like perfect tourists! Exploring in a positive way
Thanks for watching! Norway was the perfect country for us :)
You're not lucky with the weather this time. I thought you went to Briksdal glacier too.
Yeah, the Norway weather was unpredictable at times but we made the best out of it! We loved our time there :)
It's nice that you enjoyed your trip. I'm a bit disappointed that you didn't try more of the local food, but I guess that as long as you enoyed what you got, that's the main thing.
Next time we will try more when we come back! However, we did try salmon, reindeer, whale, Fårikål, cloud berries! We enjoyed all of them :)
Nice videos. Where are you guys from? The non-latin letters looks Korean to me?
Thank you! We are from California! But our ethic background is Korean American 😀
wow so so beautiful country my dream 😭🇧🇻🇧🇻
Yes! Norway is one of our favorites now! :)
This is so nice! Post more please because we are going there September and getting a lot of ideas from you 😅. Thank you!
It's going to be so fun!! Yes we have one more video coming up soon
Just found youre youtube channel! Love the videoes! Just subscribed! x) Keep up the great work!
Awesome! Thank you!
Great video! Norway sure has some amazing and beautiful landscape.
Couldn't agree more!
Hei. Welcome to Norway 😊. That thing you at the pizzeria wasn’t honey, ingefær= ginger 😉 Thanks for your great work on videos. It’s delightful to see that you guys enjoy our country 🇳🇴
oh really? it tasted so sweet. Thanks for letting us know :) We are so glad you enjoyed the video. Yes! Norway is one of our favorite countries in the world now.
@@countrymouse.ld51It was honey with added ginger. Honning = Honey in norwegian and you can see that on the bottle.
Where are you guys based/grew up? Southern California? 🙂
Incredible balcony panorama btw!
Danny grew up in SoCal!
Thank you!!

Nice video quality, which camera are you using....?
Thank you! We are using Go Pro 11, the quality is good when the lighting is good. But if the lighting is bad, we switch to iphone 14
Such a nice video, love following your journey here in Norway. Not sure if you know, but we don't tip here (unless in a really fancy restaurant), hope you got the memo so you didn't break your holiday budget :) Also really nice that you found some Norwegian folk music to add in the background, so cool.
Thank you for watching and commenting! Ah yes! good to know :)
Speak for yourself. I always tip 10% unless I am not happy. Fancy or not 😊
@@Ebbhead2424 At McDonalds? At a cafe? well, you do you :) I don't think people do that.

I just came home from London Friday and yes the food is bland. I think as Americans we can become addicted to all the chemicals in our food that give it fake flavors that if we come across other foods we immediately say it’s bland. My friends and I said we were detoxing from all the chemicals from the US. It was hard to find salt, pepper, hot sauce and seasonings. The sodas were zero sugar. We even bought white sugar and brown sugar and still it didn’t help. I think we lost weight lol which is always great. lol We tried cakes that the store owner said were extremely sweet and once we tried it we laughed because we tasted no sugar. Damn Americans lol. We still had a great trip and are trying to stay on the bland food journey. 😢
Thank you for your comment! We actually found many dishes flavorful!
I love your channel im obsessd!! New subscriber here please keep doing vlogs!

If there's more of everything in the icecream, isn't it just the same icecream but twice as much?!
yes!
Nice vlog guys ✨
Thank you 😊
A great travel vlog on my beloved capital London. The food has never been bland. The older generation like my pops and my mom but especially my grandparents. Did not eat spicy food. One they couldn't afford it and two they had no access to it. My children however are used to it and go to all the nando's and Indian takeaways. They cook a multitude of dishes from abroad. I myself love Sushi.
Yes! We loved the food. We miss them :(
That the English food is bland is the most widely known wrong thing about this country. The British Empire covered a lot of the world, and everyone started to import the food, as well as everyone in the Empire could travel anywhere within it. Especially if they had money. Not much has changed. Walk down any large town main street her and see food from ten countries at least. My own local town has several different styles of African foods on top of the usual variations, most of which I've never tried.
Agreed! So much varieties
You all might like high desert Garden Answer utube, shows how they handle planting in low water area. They are in Eastern Oregon. Lots of digging with auger attached to power drill and drip irrigation. 🌸 So nice to have trail near house, very healthy. Would love to do smoked fish, turkey, and smoked cheese (dairy fan), slow cooking retains lots of nutrients and pellets are nice renewable energy. Casseroles with lid on could be good in slow cooker. 🌌
Oh! We want to try smoked fish next! We love our smoker!
Feel nowadays govt taxes fund medicine by public behalf...charities should help lower living expenses for those with illness I mean if it is freewill charity, seems best contribution to help people in the day, not long term in my opinion. So message is do best possible in the day... 🐞
How thick Americans are never fails to amuse me. Once you get past the fact they use the word “ like “ in every sentence, it’s not English that’s for sure. Firstly why on earth would the food be bland ?? But the funniest thing is the gelato shop … “ it’s too old for copyright “ 😂😂😂 errrr the building wasn’t originally an ice cream parlour - I am not sure they grasp the concept of history
Why would the food be bland in London? It’s one of the most popular cities in the world with more cultural mixes than pretty much every other city. London, Paris are the top two. An hour away from Europe means it’s easily accessible, you have some of the best meat/fish in the world, our agricultural is superior to most countries, you have the best salmon just up in Scotland.
Exactly! Food in London was good! We miss it. Just as shown on our video :)
