Gaming PC Build Teardown : Lian Li PC-O11 Air
Просмотров 5012 года назад
This video features my prep work to downsize my gaming pc from atx case to micro atx case. Although I love the Lian Li case, it takes way too space on my new desk. Planning to move the build to Jonsbo D30 matx case. I will be curious to know if the Jonsbo will fit 360 AIO at the bottom. If you have any case suggestions or feedback, please leave a comment below. Thank you! Parts featured in the ...
Pero no ves que el lateral se puede sacar con 3 tornillos. Estas forzando todo.
For god's sake, remove the SSD/HDD plate from there, install your hardware and then install it back on!
every time i look at "compact" matx cases it just makes me regret not buying a mini itx mobo. these are compact in the same way that a baby hippo is compact
So a year on, hows the thermals and build? Any regrets on the case?
add some fans...
its not that bad to be honest
awesome video bro, I'm looking for this jonsbo d30 unboxinv but youtube have less video about it
Nice case and like the gray / silver color. But why would you test fit a 360 aio, manufacturer specifies 240 aio max. So why would you mount the pump get fans ready and then check if it fits? Other than that clean build. 👋
Thank you, I was just curious to see if bottom panel will fit 360 aio as there is fan support for 3x120mm at the bottom. I had pump fitted to the motherboard because I migrated the build from my previous case Lian Li PC011 Air. There is a teardown video of the original build on the channel. 🙂
Can It fit RTX 4080 and also with the fan installed at the bottom ?
I doubt it. 4080 itself might struggle to fit depending on your psu size.
The Gamemax Spark is essentially the same case and it's $30 cheaper
Yeah true but I think D30 came to the market first so I ended up getting this one, Gamemax spark is a good cheaper alternative. Can't go wrong with both I would say. If you like better build quality then D30 might have the upperhand.
my friend said gamemax spark have lower build quality than this jonsbo d30, maybe that's why it's cost $30 more
Your coments really help. Im planning on building on the spark by gamemax and was wondering the difference between this 2. Also which is smaller? Thnx
also Yeyan Hussar is the same case, cheaper too 🙂
Please note change to the RAM kit in the intro: corsair lpx dd4 3600 cl14
how would to rate your subjective experience of that cases ability to isolate noise? and if its not good at that, is there enough space to tape a 4mm thick dampening mat to the backpanel?
There is not much space in the back to put any dampening material, unless you have some sort of slim power cables. Case does get a bit noisy when running games. I would look at adjusting fan curves to curb the noise
@@shallwetech thanks for the answer. i got notcua 140 coming end of the month so I am allready optimising for noise. good fancurves should have it dead silent and if not i can always try to dampen a little
@@shallwetech another question: can you unscrew and turn the socket of the powercord in the back of the case?
I just migrate my system to this case because i liked the clean look and compactness and holy shit broo how you make it look easy, im drenched in blood and sweat, so much pain with non-modular PSU. As expected it's below average airflow, not recommended for high end system unless you have high end cooler and fans🤘 ps: the bottom dust fitler deserved award for best mosquito net for a PC😂
Haha, it was not easy. I fought with the gpu for like 15 minutes while wiggling it into the gap. It's a compact good looking case though. Shame it's not more popular among builders as it's not covered by big youtubers.
@@shallwetech i just buy this case :) but its the knock off chinese brand of the cooler master nr200p they review that case instead i cbf paying 144$ for it though
@@shallwetechi know this is late and you probably already know but you can take out that side plate to make it easier to install gpu and other things
@@TGUnleashed I'm looking at buying this case and it is definitely removable. Seems like some people didn't realize and made it much harder on themselves. I can see how that would make it much harder. I think the case looks super clean. As far as airflow goes, it looks better than the nr200 which was one of the others i was looking at.
Great video, really helped me with GPU dimensions and spacing.
Where you buy that case?
I live in Australia, bought from a local retailer here called PLE computers. You may be able to buy it from Ali Express but shipping costs are same price as the case if you don't live in China 😕
Can you out a gpu vertical mount if i use ryzen with wraith
Case has only 4 pcie slots. Most third party gpu mounts require minimum 7 horizontal pcie slots. Also no vertical slots on the case to mount gpu. My best guess it won't fit even with some janky vertical mounts available.
I wonder will a 280mm aio will fit the case?
Top will fit 280mm aio
@@shallwetech that is awesome. I like it, I would like to do a build in this case myself.
@@MrRoro582 please note to fit 280mm AIO you'll need SFX PSU. With standard ATX PSU it may not be compatible
@@shallwetech thank you, yeah I have a SFX PSU.
NO. A 280 is too long. It hits the PSU mount while trying to install.
I think top case you should add 1 more 120mm fan, add 2x140 or 3x120mm fan intake at bottom, set back fan exhaust. An Bottom fan should be impressive, so airflow in case would be better.
Thank you , will try your suggestions
if you put standard height fans in the bottom, would there be enough room to populate the bottom pci slot?
this will depend on width of the card you will be populating. There is just a single slot gap between GPU and and top of the bottom fan. you should be able to squeeze in single slot cards without any heat sinks. But any wide cards with heatsinks will brush up against the fan.
And make sure you have motherboard that have pci on first slot, that will give you more space even using 25mm fan
Is there any place for cable extensions?
Not much space in the back and cable bends are quite severe, I wouldn't recommend. Your cpu cable also need to be quite long to reach the 8 pin socket on the motherboard.

What's your temps in that? Seems like not enough ventilation but I may be wrong.
Thanks Joel, I will add the benchmark results soon
@@shallwetech take your time. I'm just scouting for potential case and this happen to be suggested
