Schrecklich !!!
The radio probably needs a new valve for oudio and it could also be a capacitor,if you can it's best to find a ham club that maybe in your town or city or if you know someone who is qualified to work on it or look online for someone, ànd hi there Australia.
Salut my friend super car super video subscribe subscribe ...
Beautiful one off production of an already very rare automobile.
I have one with 61000 original miles

Fantastic

I read when Edsel was getting his father to buy the Lincoln motor car company, Henry told him, well maybe this will get Clara out of her Cadillac. Sadly Edsel was not really appreciated by his father
That’s a Cadillac air cleaner
Enjoyed the video very much. What a great story and a wonderful car !
schade das sich bestimmte spots dauernd wiederholen
...umfassende ,, Neuwagengarantie " ..., 6 Monate oder 10000 Km....,😂😂😂!!
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Nice job tearing the trunk liner . What is the point of the video are you selling the car or what? Also you don't give much information about the car. It's alright if you don't know I mean the car speaks for itself but it would be nice to learn something about it. I still can't believe you continued to rip the trunk liner after it started tearing.
IT'S QUIET!!! LOL, ha ha ha ha ha.
I’m sure you would be embarrassed to say what payed for it!
my best bud has two of these. One runs and drives, the other is probably on the way to it's new owner now
nice video and what a stunning car ! However it looks to me like it been repainted in a slightly brighter shade of white to the original VW factory finish. The original factory paint - called "Alpine White" would have been slightly creamier, and the original paint 'difference' can be seen inside the spare wheel compartment at 3:44 . (look near the museum owners hand area ) you can see clearly the 2 different shades of white. So only the internal wheel well has the original paint, and the factory 'paint code label 'would not need to be removed. I used to own one, and know that the Alpine white is a particular shade. Also, the Champagne edition 'side stripes' would also have been gold from the factory, and yours look like black replicas . The hood and interior do look original. Nice to see well preserved though.
Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime. :-((((((///
So sad that this car did not save Packard. There was simply no money for a new design. The 1956s would be the last true Packards. I remember a few of these when I was a kid. I would never restore this car either as it looks too good. Only do maintenance as needed
❤️❤️❤️
Bravo!
Hochzeitstag.

What would this car sell for these days? Being from buffalo NY area it would be awesome to have this!!
Hello! Our appraiser is currently working on his report - he appraised this one-off for $65,000. And it is available.
Truly my dream car! Wheels are ugly though
The tires are ugly af
These Champagne editions came with white wall tires. If you don't like them, don't spend the big bucks for a champagne edition.
@@baritonebynight not with white walls THAT wide they didn’t lol and that has absolutely 0 to do with it being a champagne edition. The sand top, sport wheels and 4 gold stripes with light ivory interior with burl dash (depending if it was a 77 or 78, 77 has rosewood)is what actually makes it a champagne edition. The aftermarket tires gives the same appearance as a clown wearing oversized shoes..just my POV..beep beep
I love the car but I don't like the colors.
Beautiful car; thanks for rescuing it and for the ride.
Wow, beautiful....and so is the car.
Awesome car! Love the formal limo! Would be really beautiful once cleaned up. Would love to see the passenger compartment! Love the bear 😍
🖐🤝👍👍👍
Great video Marc ! I have a love affair with the Packard brand and you showed this car off beautifully . I am not too familiar with the 55 model except for its suspension which is torsion bar with an electric leveling motor. I assume it is a V -8 not straight 8 .
Yes they had V8 starting in 55
One of the sexiest cars.
When you bought a Packard, you were buying one for life. They built them that way. Often called "America's Rolls Royce". There were a lot of luxury sedans, but when you had a Packard, that was the final word. I've heard stories about people garaging them in the thirties because if one went floating down the street where there was a bread line, very often the destitute would throw rocks, or bottles at them. I don't think there are very many makers, whose vehicles still have that high of a status in the minds of the public. You can see Mercedes, and others of this sort in every neighborhood rich or poor.
Packard's repeat customers didn't rotate buying cars. They kept them for years because they were so reliable. Not many people who owned them cared much about model changes.
Thanks for all that info guys! Im new to packards.
Not "for life" but most buyers would keep them longer than average. Often 5-10 years.
I'll take this car over a Mercedes, rich or not!🙄😀👍😁🛠️🔧⚒️
When you speak of lack of room in the front seat, realize that this is a car intended to be chauffeur driven. The chauffeur's comfort is not an issue to the owner. If there is a complaint then you hire a chauffeur who fits.
Is it difficult to change o2 sensor
Just that you know... Dierk Mengers really enjoyed watching your video. Is the car still for sale? If not, what did it sell for? Greetings from Germany
This must have been one of Brunn's last bodies. It's a very successful adaption of the original and of course much better finished and trimmed than Ford's own cars.
PRICE ?
If the car is for sale please contact me 6266263716 Angelo...i have 2 -38 zephyrs currently
My name is, Richard Miller and I owned this Lincoln Zephyr towncar and I sold in the late 80's or early 90's. I have the original photos that Brunn sent to me but unfortunately, I gave the letter and the construction photos to Jeremy-----, who bought the car. The rest of the letter states that it was originally black and that Brunn disliked the maroon color and that he hoped I would return it to its original color. I do not remember what else was mentioned after that. I still have the original finished photo of the car that Mr. Brunn sent me. The photos are all 8x10's and a photocopy of the design drawing. All these were sent by Brunn to me. I also have the names of the former owners. I had the engine rebuilt before I sold it to Jeremy. The car always ran well and was never a problem. It did not require much maintenance. The carpet in the back was black, just like the one in front and I have photo taken in the 80's showing the black carpet in the back. The car looks just you have it now. I would like to contact you in private regarding more information on this car that I have and would like to share with you. How do I go about this? BTW, I live in Southern California, too.
Hello Richard! Thank you so much for your comment! We are very interested to learn more details about this unique classic! Please leave us a mail at Greg@TheGregGillCompany.com - we looking forward to hear from you!
I love the story about this car an would like to hear the rest of the story and see the old picture
Looks like it has exhaust coming out of the bumper ends. I recall as a kid seeing a 57 Chevy set up that way. It was the only one I ever saw.
My auntie had a Packard Clipper like this. My sister said she remembered riding in it. She said it had real leather seats.
