You know i have no knowledge of the trials you have gone through in life. I have been through more then a few myself..I have somehow lived to be an old man now with late stage cancer but when I was young I was an arrogant fighter living a self righteous life. I have always in the back of my heart known that Jesus was always there...I will pray for you brother because though all the tribulations, he is still there.

Luke 5:32 says, "I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance Matthew 4:17: "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand Psalm 34:14: "Turn away from(aka repent from ) evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it"

Those verses are easy to understand. I almost completely forgot about those. Repentence is living as a clean and pure offering to the Lord. If anyone knows the whole message or lesson of why God punished and warned the nation of Israel of all the wicked things that are being committed. If anyone can understand God's character as being just and loving, then we would understand why things are happening to us if we rebel against Him. God warned Israel of all the sins being practiced by sending prophets as messengers, but many did not listen. He then allowed destruction of powerful nations to be brought upon Israel and exiled His people until they have aknowledged that they should not rebel against Him. He then saved His people from their occupiers, and brought them back to the land of Israel, because He still cares for them. After a few centuries, He sent His son Jesus to call everyone to repentence, and teach everyone how to live a life pleasing to Him

How do you not sin ever?

It's simple, do not do what is wrong in the eyes of the Lord again. But acknowldege what you have done wrong to the Lord, and he will examine your heart. Philippians 4:6-9 NKJV [6] Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; [7] and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. [8] Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things. @@wallychampen1695 it’s impossible to not sin, but just because we do sin does not mean we should continue to do so. The only we can sin less is by focusing on our relationship with God! Stay safe and God bless!

When you repent, you are forgiven of your sins. Baptism is the way to be saved. Matthew 3:1-12 NKJV [1] In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, [2] and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” [3] For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying: “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; Make His paths straight.’ ” [4] Now John himself was clothed in camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey. [5] Then Jerusalem, all Judea, and all the region around the Jordan went out to him [6] and were baptized by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins. [7] But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Baptism is about acknowledging your wicked ways and die to your own flesh and live in the spirit by the blood of Jesus. Even the appostles left what they were doing before they met Jesus and this should be the true definition of repentence. Turning away from your ways (includes: addictions/idolatry, sexual immorality, drunkeness, and other worldly pleasures). ⁠@@BlakeJones17forgiven of sins is the same thing as being saved. What does it mean to be saved? What are we saved from. We are saved from hell which is the punishment for our sins. To be forgiven of your sins is the same as to be saved. We are saved by faith alone in Christ. Turning from our sinful lifestyle is apart of sanctification. It is an action to turn from sin, aka a work. Works don’t save. If you think they do, or if you think we must change our behavior must change upon coming to Christ in order to prove salvation, tell me how many works must I do, what is the limit of sins I am able to suffer thru but still remain saved. You cannot give me that list. So by that logic, you can never know if you’re truly saved. Does the Bible say we can never know we’re saved and must simply hope to make it, no. 1 John 5:13 says we can know we have eternal life aka are saved aka are forgiven of our sins, if we simply believe in Jesus Christ. I’m saying this with all love brother I can see you have a bright spirit inside of you and wanna serve the Lord but I don’t not agree with your comment here on the sentiment in the video that repentance, in terms of, to change behavior, turn from lifestyle of sin, is necessary for salvation, because the Bible simply doesn’t say that. Everyone other religion, states that if you follow their rules and live righteously, you’ll make it to “heaven” or “enlightenment”. Christianity is the only one (true Christianity) where us making to to heaven is dependent solely on, not our own actions, but the grace of God, which we receive by believing in him, not by doing any actions
