Better than mediocre restaurants are slow to come to Sandy Springs. Big pro is that it is a city well insulated from the incompetence and discrimination of Fulton County government. The city police are excellent.
Please confirm or refute if it is mandatory in Sandy Springs that drivers wear a mask when alone in their vehicles. Thank you.

There is a Belgian male who lives in Sandy Springs who proudly reveals that he wears a mask while driving alone in his car and who further ridicules intelligent women online. Poor Sandy Springs that his likes lives there! Lol

I've been looking for homes around Atlanta, many in Sandy Springs, and the public schools are NOT top rated. It makes it very hard to justify the incredibly high property taxes (near double of what other similarly priced homes in other areas of Atlanta)

How is the diversity in Sandy Springs? I am currently looking to relocate to Ga where i have family. They are mostly city of Atlanta and some are in Alpharetta.
Sandy Springs is very diverse - graduating class of 2019 at Riverwood High School had over 30 different countries represented.

What is the rent
Can we talk about how the cost of living has ABSOLUTELY SKYROCKETED here? It never used to be this bad in sandy springs with all these buildings going up and apartments being built. What happened to the sandy springs of old? It used to be such a nice place. Now the city is going to shit, crime rate is going up, the roads are horrible, the cops are now just a bunch of trigger happy second rate jockeys, rent for apartments are like 2 thousand dollars a month and up for anything in the 30342 area(because that’s where I lived since I came to GA in 2007). It’s horrible to live here now. Considering moving to Douglasville because I can get a mortgage on a HOUSE for that kind of rent that these apartments are asking for. I hope the city returns to be such a peaceful place.
I appreciate your honesty. I saw the extremely impressive video on its private contracting of services. Nice people in it and I was pleasantly shocked to hear Democrats mentioned as the obstacle to progress. But from that and this video it's clearly a pricey place to live all right. Is Douglasville cheaper and not overrun with foreigners?

Could an officer for the police dept be able to practically live in sandy shores making 48k a year ? OR would they need to look at commuting. The department there is one of the departments I am trying to decide between. The area seems great, I have family up there, but the cost of living seems so high I'm just concerned about the livability
