Well, i couldn't recall any penalty that been given after the incident but I strongly remember that the driver in the integra rush to the EK9's pit. And then there are some physical contact. In Thailand penalty is not necessary important back then. We only focus on the physical contact.
Now both of them still racing (different team , of course) and they also coaching racing car driver. The integra driver is "Jum Grant" and the EK9 is "S" Narasak Ittiritpong
I know it looks like it but if you watch closely in the slow mo the EK driver has full breaking control. He got within a few inches but he's fully slowed to apex speed before he's within 1 ft of the DC5. Just what I see and think from experience...
I believe the EK9 bumped into the DC5 by accident at the start of this video. Notice how the DC5 skidded in oversteer and and EK9 tried his best to slow down to avoid hitting his competitor. So to me, the DC5 driver thought the EK9 drove into him on purpose.
both of them should be DQ-ed earlier in the race and they should have a Muay Thai ring next to the track. What's not done, can be settled off on the ring
That DC5 driver is an arsehole! Needs to be banned from racing tbh. It was wrong what the EK did in the end but 90% of us would of seen "red mist" in that situation and done the same!
wow! my heart has never raced so hard while sitting infront of a computer!!! 1. because of the thrilling race and tension and 2. from the anger boiling inside me because of the blatant disregard for any racing rules (if there are any) or common courtesy!
