idk i tried to make my own version of creator
the songs time signiture is 3/4 and 9/8 with lots of tempo switches
90 bpm - 164 bpm - 246 bpm (or its half)
only used vital which i think is the best free plugin you can have for drums i used some minecraft samples with distortion
there is a lot more layers than shown on the video but if i have recorded them all the screen would look too full and you wouldnt be able to see the notes that good

I believe you're talking about 0:18? In this case it is done by "automating" the volume of the instrument. It is done by right-clicking the volume knob on the instrument and then choosing "Create automation clip" or something like that. Then you just adjust the points on the clip to form a graph representing the volume of the instrument at the given time. Hope this helps!
