Love it! - I think I agree about the microwave. For us we use it a lot because of reheating food like you said. Very handy for oatmeal breakfasts in the morning as well. But yes, if you won't be near shore power or an inverter, the storage may be worth the trade off. - Do you think you will run into ground clearance issues with the current trailer tire spare mount? It looks like that is a lowest point and also near a point of articulation? Not sure where else it could go, though. Great job on the camper so far, can't wait to see more videos on it!
Nice pick up, have you thought of putting a power system in the rear (battery, charger n inverter) solar panels on the roof?? Joolca for a hot water system. A spare wheel on the front maybe or switch the wheels n tyres to be the same size as the rum runner. Love the wrap, sets it apart
Idea, Pump tucked up under the rig so if you get a leak no water in rig. If you leave it energized and you get a leak 14 gallons in the car would not be good. 😮
That is a stinking good point!
Fantastic assessment, to increase the run time reduce the pipe diameter also an aerator will work too
Exactly. I’m going to make a video about how much water I run through during normal camp tasks. Washing dishes, washing hands, taking a shower, etc. I calculate what an average day’s camping water usage is for me.
Does the pump have any type of inline filter that can be changed from time to time?
Yes Indeed. I’m the intake side of the pump. And more elaborate inline filters can purchased online. They’re usually sold for RV-ers. I’m thinking about getting one to use for filling the tank, in case I want to refill on the road.
What prevents the water in the system from freezing in the middle of winter?
That’s a problem I haven’t solved yet. Any suggestions?
Lucky you never poked any deeper in that flesh eating termite mound mate. They can swarm out in their billions and eat you from the feet up while your trying to run away!!. Seriously though thanks for the vid. Found you thru Harry channel and ill be keen to follow your adventures in the USA. Dont send me a 1st aid kit. I have enough shit in my 4wd to do open heart surgery in the desert 🙂
Hey from Florida! Thanks for watching. What part of Oz do you call home?
Next time the power goes out we’ll be set!
Yes Indeed!
Interesting. It's been a while. Seems you're doing really well. Keep on keeping on. 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks!
Fantastic addition to the rig, just watch the wear on those pipes going through the chassis
Thanks! I am thinking about putting some wire loom on them for protection. What do you think?
@@NathanKingOverland some split hose or grommets should do the trick
The only thing lacking in that entire setup was a Red Hills Land Cruiser Club decal nestled in among the other decals. 😊
I need one of those!
Looks like a great set up mate. Cheers Steve
Thanks Steve!
Cool setup! I've always thought we should make use of that space!
Trail’D had it figured out. I love it so far.
A great looking area to do some camping-nice find.
Miss King Overland may not approve of your love of dangerous snakes !
Ah. Yes. That may be so. But she wasn’t there and the camera made it look like I was closer than I was. 😬
Dominic Courts
What’s that?
Just purchased the G13 version and it's the way to go.
Nice! I’ve been happy with mine! Check out my serving video on the subject.
Fantastic episode and review. What an awesome vehicle to hire
It really is! Thanks for watching!
I drive by that spot almost every day and always wondered what was down that road!
Go check it out! Do you live in Glen? Thanks watching!
@@NathanKingOverland I live on Normandy by the equestrian center. I usually go riding out in Jennings in my Toyota Camry.
Came here from a recent f2f reference. Glad I did.
I’m glad you made it over! In which video did you pick up the reference? Thanks for watching! If you liked that one, check out my other parodies.
So what head unit did you recommend? I have a 2015 forerunner
I have the 11 and it’s great!
Thanks for showing. Have you been pretty happy with it over the last 3 years? No issues with fitment , leaking, etc?
I don’t have the Cruiser any more, but I loved that feature and miss having it on the RumRunner. It never leaked, sealed tight, was easy to install. I highly recommend it.
@@NathanKingOverland Right on and thanks for the reply! Any notice of increased noise compared to the stock windows?
I have been researching many different head units to upgrade. I cannot find something that does not have a few bugs. So far I am just staying with the OEM version.
But the OEM certainly has drawbacks too. 🤷🏻♂️
I’m trying to get rid of my oem because of Nathan’s problem. It constantly shuts off. I have turn it back on. It’s one of the reasons to move on. Toyota did us an injustice on the early models. 2015 should have gotten decent head units.
Happy to hear a lot of the common issues/complaints seem to have been addressed. Have you had any issues or bugs pop up since the install?
None so far. The screen is still on the bright side for me, but much, much better than the last version.
More wank than review
Everyone needs more than one grill.
Dang straight.
Me and the wife been trying to find armadillo lk on Google map but not having luck can you point us in right direction
Sorry it took so long up respond. I’m glad you ended up finding it. Next time you’re out there, I like this spot better. N 30.32579, W 82.36778
Next time your in knoxville drive over to Madison county,nc ti drive up to max patch to check our the views. That area is licayed nearby this buzzards roost area. It is also located off of interstatw 40. You take the harmons den exir to drive up to max patch.
Awesome! I’m putting that down to go check it out. What are the trails like to get up there?
Loved your video mate, I also picked up on the parody of Tim Bates 😂
I love Tim Bates. He’s a legend. Thanks for watching!
What controller is that?
Hey. It’s the Throttle Grenade. If you use the code KING at check out, you get a discount.
They used it for road i10
Yes Indeed. That seems to be the case.
😮😮😮😮😮😂😂
Those suckers are intimidating.
Thanks for the dirt road tour.
Any time! I do love a dirt road. And in Florida ours are all flat. 🤷🏻♂️

Spectacular spot to camp, looks well maintained and reasonably untouched. Looking forward to the rest of the trip.
Thanks Sean! The place is gorgeous.
Enjoy
I did. But I did miss my own stereo setup.
Nice one Nathan! We've missed you mate. Cheers Steve
More to come! Thanks for watching!
In case I haven't already shared this, I love Arizona.
Visited Arizona to see my friend who I've been writing to for over 25 years. She lives in Safford and I live in Manchester, England. The first thing that hit me was not the heat, which was 106 degrees in October, but it was how brown everywhere was, when I'm used to everywhere being green and colourful. Stopped at Phoenix and I'd pre-ordered a tour with Detours of Arizona for a day out to the Grand Canyon as it was a long way, for us anyway. They were really good. We then went from Phoenix to Tombstone, watched the re-enactment, although not in the OK Coral, it was out on the street. Stayed at the Larian Motel, which was a nice place to stay, only a 10 minute walk to the centre of the old Tombstone. Then we drove onto Safford. They took us up Mount Graham, and went 9,000ft up, and boy, it was a lovely 95 degree heat. Much better than down on the low level which, as I said was 106 degrees. They felt the coolness as they were wearing jackets. Me and my hubby were in t-shirts and thin slacks. A lovely green meadow up there with the most beautiful coloured butterflies. On our way back to their house, I had my first sniff of a roadkill. It was a skunk. I could not describe the smell of one. My friend's hubby said that they smell worse when dead than when they are alive and squirt you with their "aroma"🤣. I would recommend this trip for anyone to go on. On the train side. Another time we visited the US, we took an Amtrak from San Diego to LA, which was only a three hour trip, then from LA to Chicago on the South Western Chief (2.5 days). It had four engines pulling it. And when it was going around a bend in the mountains, we didn't see the back end of it at all. One thing I do know is that odd numbered highways travel north/south, even number go east/west, as in I.10, and I've travelled down the Pacific Highway, I.01. You just mentioned it in your video🤣🤣. Very interesting explaining about your information about the highways. But just one thing. As I said, I live in England, and we do have some very straight stretches of road. Just look at an atlas of the country, and you have the A5, A1, and other roads that are actually named as streets. These are actually Roman built roads. They were built 2,000 years ago, and we still use the same lines. Same in Italy, if you look at their roads, they still use the old Roman roads and they are straight as an arrow, they didn't build them to go round things, they went through or over or under places. It was so their armies could march that much quicker
Wow! Thanks for watching and for sharing! Sounds like you have seen more of the U.S. than many of us have.
@@NathanKingOverland The first time we went, it was to Monroe, Wisconsin. The House on the Rock is a must see. Very interesting place to visit
Did you raid Ronnys actual wardrobe 😂 too good
