Can u sand and get smooth finish on terotuf?
Also do u need respirator with terotuf like with g10?
Sorry to be that guy but do you have any news on drop forge survival?
I do not. :)
Is that 18 inch like Filipino Sword?? Do you think it would combat ready or good for that use?? Thank you in advanced for any input..
Have you ever thought about making a carcass splitting longsword? 🤔 I would love to maybe someday custom order a: 1.) 6 inch wide blade, thick durable spine, 16 inch handle, 36 inch blade, 52 inch total longsword.
Beautiful cleavers!!! 💀❤
How good does the combat loop work with molle?
The TekLok is cut to fit in a MOLLE loop, the Combat Loop is not, which is something I did not realize until reading the comments on the video. Having used a Combat Loop for the last several years, I think I would go with a TekLok. The Combat Loops work pretty decently for belt carry, but it is possible for the lock to slide and unlock while wearing it if things jostle in the wrong way.
The Kershaw Camp 18 (1074) is an overpriced POS. I bought one about a year ago, after Kershaw reintroduced them (they had been discontinued for some time). The blade no longer had a fuller. My blade was badly warped and twisted. The handle is way too small for such a heavy blade. This blade costs $50-60. You can buy both an Ontario 18" Military Machete (1075 carbon steel) and an old school Alice Clip hard plastic sheath for a lower total price. One will last you a lifetime, the other is a piece of garbage.
Now ive gotta try that.
😂 Great vid. Thanks!!!
Tek-Lok fits in Mollie where combat doesn't
I need you to make me one like that but I need to look like it came from hell I need to handle to be longer almost as long as it can but not exactly and I need there to be a right-handed handle coming out of the side kind of like how they do with sigh
I love the unedited version
Now, how to get one?
Really good Work you Put on that!! I would Love to See a Video how you make the sheats for this wonderful 2-handed carcass splitters from Back time, I bought one years ago, its huge and massive I guess it was for splitting a Beef....best regards
Price please
dude its the reaver cleavers ancestor
Nice looking knife....should be at least 6 inches thick..at least because u need the sideways leverage when trying to break cartilage and sticky sinew.thats when the double bowed handles comes in play....great it's light and u can swing around for no reason but when out in field with a half froozen moose u need something that works fast.weight and leverage are needed..then after meat processed u could swing blade around....I guess
Lmao ..a sixteenth under a half...lmao....I gotta use that at work
Nice work!
I know they have time constraints, even if they could edit a lot out, due to cost etc., but I wish they allowed a little more time to allow the blades to be more representative of what they are trying to emulate. Obviously, the viewer doesn't know many details such as distal taper, weight and so on, but the blades often look a bit overbuilt and under finished compared to historical examples. Of course, this might be due to the nature of the tests which sometimes expect a sword to work as a felling axe for some reason.
Thanks for the video. Now, I know which one to buy.
That was funny
Britt seems kinda scared of his friend there, hope he’s still alive.
looks like a sword to me
what the price of a 13 inch custom parang
Duuude these are sick
Do you make custom orders? I’d like a more anime looking murderer high carbon carcass splitter
I do like the terotuf better awsome material 👍👍👍
Where and when can I purchase a midtech bush sword? Thankyou for your time
think it is custom made
I'm working on sheath tooling for these. When finished, these will be available. The first few will be available from a small handful of dealers such as Tactical Elements, Blue Line Gear, and New Graham Knives.
@@viseshseernam39 Small scale production. :)

You guys crack me up!! Awesome Bushsword rig!
Awesome
Thats an awesome sheath mate. Very talented
cool 😎 stuff
Good hammer. Nice work. Fire the heavy breathing cameraman.
American are weirdest people ever seen they shave heir head their armpits legs hair hand hairs their chests but not their beard or moustaches meaning everything hidden can shaved but every thing visible should left unshaved
I think it's pretty amusing that in a country of 330 million people who apparently can't agree on anything else, that you think there's some kind of unified grooming regimen for Americans. These days, the only shaving I do personally is to test the sharpness of my blades.
@@Helmforge just pointing a fact that I found weird but they are American youtubers that I follow that shave regularly
Very good test.thanks.
I like this camera man lol
Amish bear ninja 😂😂😂😂😂
This video answers all my questions. Thanks!
❤️🙏🏻🇺🇸🤠🥓🧀🍔🗽 ... Back 7 years later.... just as cool now as it was then ! .... 💪🏻💪🏻
awesome video!!!
Next time use a tripod and leave the cameraman at home.
I am the tripod😃
These would be ideal for me if it had a loop like the benchmade socp instead of the charging handle stlye. Add an ulticlip to wear iwb while running, man she'd be sweet.
There are a number of self-defense tools available these days that make use of rings/loops. I have a few variants in the works for the ST series. None at the moment include a loop, but I'll let the gears in my noggin turn on that notion and see if it's something that I want to do.
@@Helmforge That'd be great. Looking forward to see your future designs!
can they be used as fire rescue tools?
They work great for breaking down pig and cow carcasses, but I don't think they'd have any advantage over a fireman's ax for fire rescue.
Really genius 🙏
Thank you for the great lesson (knowledge)
Thanks for the instructions. I tried your way and found holding the hammer handle and using the fingers as you described made forging a lot easier on my arm muscles and related joints. It seemed that I was forging with less effort to achieve the same result. Thanks again.
Love it mate, great build

A few years ago you sold me your long handle hawk with poll back from a blade show at the time. It has performed flawlessly since then. My most expensive & also most treasured hawk in my collection. Since then I have you on "notify" so that I can see what you're up to. This vid is very interesting & informative, but I only understood 50% of what you said because of the wind flup in your mic. Please try to pick better days for outside filming, or get a wireless remote mic with wind sock or locate under clothing if weather is unpredictable. I know I'm talking a monetary investment, but along with your expertise in craftmanship, your opinions & content are too valuable to lose to subpar sound work!!! Best regards, Barry
Howdy, Barry. Yep, the wind noise is aggravating, though less than I was afraid it was going to be when filming. I'm at my shop by myself the vast majority of the time, so usually only film when Tobin happens to be out at my shop. We had literally hiked over to our filming location and started in when the cold front hit. I wasn't sure if anything would be salvageable. If there's anything you missed hearing that you'd like to ask about, I'll translate. :D I'm recording on a little point-n-shoot camera and only doing about two videos a year. If I can get a little ahead on bills and knife-making equipment upgrades, I'll try to see about improving filming equipment.
