The Perfect Sandwich | Short Film
In this film, we wanted to show how small, everyday actions can help us remember and feel close to those we’ve lost. John’s grief isn’t shown through big, dramatic moments but through something simple and real. I wanted to explore how we can find comfort in memories, especially through little things that keep them alive.

Can't believe I am so close to my uni application deadline. This is something I really enjoyed to film and edit though. I think it turned out quite wholesome. Let me know what you guys thought :) Also it was a struggle trying to speak so fast.

Watched some ray's films and found that today even illiterate cannot make movie with mobile phone like that.
Well we're all allowed to have our opinions but I would kindly request you to not address them publicly as many people including me think he was one of the greatest of his time and comments like these are highly offensive. Coming from a country where film was not that rich, he was the one who made Indian film revolutionary. Ask any Bollywood filmmaker today, you'll see 80% will say they have been inspired from his work. If you think any illiterate can make films like his , then half of India's population should have an Oscar by now don't you think? Movies like Pather Panchali, Charulata, Gupi Gayn Bagha Bayn are masterpieces which are probably movies that are made once in a lifetime. You clearly don't know how difficult it actually is to make a proper film. It involves a whole cast and crew who have to spend endless sleepless nights to bring it together. I can't even imagine how difficult it must have been back then. So please think twice before making any comments on such legends.

@@zaynshafique after 50 years world now totaly different, changed.Today everone has internet and phone with all features.Intertested people can easily go to some village and caputure real life videos of poor people and make documentaries.It can be more real than 50 year back

Nice! I am currently in the process of applying to NYU, however I am stuck on the part 3 of the portfolio that asks us to chose a prompt and write up to 3 pages. Do you mind helping me with that ?
Do you mean the story?
@@zaynshafique I’m talking about the one where, they give you a few sentences and you have to chose one to add on and write up to three pages and then the other option was you could write about 5 non essential items you would take on an island
@@aleyahmckinney I think my form is different because part 3 of my written requirement is a story using a visual prompt and then an essay
@@zaynshafique oh ok. Someone told me that was the prompt but I didn’t see it for myself actually lol. I think I have to pay first on for slideroom in order to see prompt #3 because it’s the only one you can’t see on the NYU application website. I know this is confusing but I’ll get back to you lol. thanks !
