Those are raw garlic cloves? Why’re they deep yellow, they look semi cooked. What type of blender is preferred for this process, I’m afraid mine may not be heat resistant
Yes, they are raw garlic cloves. I usually peel the skin off loads of garlic bulbs and then freeze them so it’s easy and convenient when cooking after work. When I take out the garlic cloves that I need from the freezer bag, I give the garlic cloves a quick rinse under the tap before I add them To the pot. For this recipe, I used the Wilko 1000w blender. The purpose of using the blender was to make a creamy paste, which it does. However, if you do not have a blender, you can still make the recipe. When it comes to the blending process, you need to add a little water at a time until the mixture becomes a little creamy. Hope this helps.

Your chicken shouldn’t leave much oil as, when ever I make it in the grill, your only using a small amount of oil to grill the chicken.
the sauce never ends up being the same consistency as yours 😖 it always separates and is watery (even with no water) i don’t know where i’m going wrong
I make sure to whisk the yogurt beforehand and it still happens, also y’all the cumin and ajwain can be overpowering so leave it out if you want
I’ll do another video on the sauce, but normally I mix all the ingredients and then cook on low heat, I continue stirring it until I get it to my desired thickness.

Can I use semi skimmed milk?
You could try it but semi skimmed milk will have more water to milk components compared to full fat (whole milk). So personally, I think full fat (Whole milk) is better as the water evaporates, you are left with more of the other milk component’s such as carbs, protein and fats, which is what adds to the flavour and texture of the dish. Hope this helps!

There are a number of reasons why rice can become mushy. So, * ensure you wash the rice out properly to get rid of starch. * different grains of rice take different amounts of water. I’ve used Laila xtra long basmati rice and I know with this rice, for every one cup of rice, I double the amount of water I use when cooking. * stirring rice too much can make the rice mushy as it can activate starch. Hey love the look of the food! I'm trying to do the same but unsure what temp an how long to grill for I currently have an electric cooker with the grill can you please tell me the temp and time please will be my first time using the grill 😂
Hi, I grilled mine on medium low heat until the colour changed to medium golden brown. I then turned the chicken pieces over to cook the other side on medium low heat until golden brown. Oven and grill temperature can vary. I use a gas cooker grill and usually cook on medium low heat. Electric cookers May distribute different amounts of heat, so the looking time may vary. Therefore, I can suggest cooking until to the colour of the chicken pieces changes. Please refer to the video on how my chicken pieces looked when I turned them over and when they were finally cooked. Hope this helps

Hi, when I try making this the rice comes out a bit mushy/soggy. Is that because I’m using too much water or because I am not letting it reduce enough before I put the lid on? Thanks.
Hi, Leaving too much water will make the rice grains absorb more water, making the rice soggy and mushy. Therefore, it is important to allow the water to reduce to roughly 1cm above the rice level before you put the lid on. This will then be enough water for the rice to fully cook. Hope this helps ❤️
