Party Dress Musical theatre solo age 12
this was my daughter Maddy's musical theatre solo for 2019 with Miss Jennies performing arts studio, choreographed by Alyssa Cave. I posted it awhile ago but she was young and so now that she's older being silly on stage for Musical theatre is acceptable. She did amazing with this solo... she actually got 1st place overall musical theatre solo for this very performance. Definitely a proud mama moment!

This was my daughters Contemp solo from the 2023 season. First time trying a Contemp solo and she did fabulous! This was at Elite dance challenge where she wins 1st place overall pre-comp senior solo and title winner which consisted of a Jump Start scholarship as well as a CDX scholarship!! This was our first year competing contemporary at our pre-competitive studio. Average age 15. They did amazingly well at the 4 comps they attended in 2022! So proud of these young ladies!!

Maddys first lyrical solo. Pre-competitive age 14. She danced to the song Flashlight which is from Pitch Perfect 2. We loved it and she danced beautifully even if this was a crazy weird COVID dance season with lockdowns,virtual dance classes and block competitions. So proud of the resiliency!!

this was Maddy's first competitive team experience in 2012. She was 5 years old along with the 5 other little sweeties. She danced with Dance Incorporated from Barrie, Ontario Canada this year. Her only experience competing in Ballet Not bad for a novice group of 5 year olds.

This was the Kid's first duet! It was the perfect song choice for these very competitive siblings! Musical theatre was the perfect genre for Riley and Maddy!! This was Riley's first year of competitive dance! Not too shabby!! #emoduet the first time I uploaded this video there was a lag... it has been fixed! hope you enjoy!!

Not sure what you mean by real? They are my son and daughter when they were 14 and 12 respectively … they were doing a musical theatre dance which consists of lip synching and dancing. They are dressed like the pigs from Sing!

My sister ChaCha really knows hip hop and this is more like twerking only oof-
They are 7-9 year olds. The dance is actually “open” which means it mixes 2 or more dance genres. This is acro and hip hop and some jazz. These dancers are novice or pre-comp so I think that they did very well for their skill level. And so did the judges. 🤷🏻♀️

I was looking to use this song for a duet. where did you find such a good version? I can't seem to find one
Nicole Katelnikoff hey there! Sorry it was our studio owner that did their music. She wanted to make sure it didn’t have the part where “Craig” says “I did drugs once...” as its not appropriate for family friendly competitions such as Kick It Up. So I think she took one of the versions and edited it appropriately.
@@emofamily1 Okay sounds good! I live in Canada and for some reason the original version is blocked. I was just trying to find a clearer version if that makes sense
Nicole Katelnikoff we are in Canada as well. I think most SNL stuff is not available on RUclips. If you google it you might be able to find it. That’s what I had to do to show my kids the Spartans Cheerleading skits to get them into character for this duet.
