Do we need special cable or usb c to c cable will also work?
@@doc_verma it can be USB A to C, or C to C. Just make sure it’s a good quality cable from a reputable brand. I believe the one I use in the video is one from KIWI Design.
@Lamfords i just got quest 3, and i have lenovo legion slim 7i (rtx 4060). I am yet to try PCVR thing. Trying to figure out the steps.
@ Nice! Definitely give it a go, there’s a few options, so give wireless a try too. Cable can be more stable, but then you’re tethered to the device. They each have their upsides and downsides.
u forgot about the glitches and bugs and crashes and a lot of stuttering
even on some high end PCs
I just purchased one are you able to connect that cable to maybe a drone I got a DJI Maverick
I use Virtual Desktop and I get a input latency of 45ms which is pretty good. I don‘t want to play with an d-link cable but Input delay should be between 10-20ms

I use virtual desktop and it look so.good
Thank you brother, the videos that I watched were very difficult.
When I see gameplay like this. Makes me wonder why even get the vr and not just do it in real life
Now I know how to do it
Just ordered the Quest 3 (already own a Quest 2) for the new lenses and Kayak VR: Mirage is one of my favorite games (in addition to The Climb). Glad to see so much more detail with the new headset.
Looks a lot more clearererer
Can i run it on a laptop woth 4070?
@@MrWebon yeah, that should work fine.
Remember , disconnected the battery on elite headstrap when done will make it last longer, as it still charges headset all night long. Also, quick tip , disable autowake in setting.
It's sux it didn't work all to great for me
How did you manage to pass the problem with installing Oculus app for PC on computer?
Do you need a special pc for the quest 2
who else noticed that his PC doesn't have a case
I’m lit losing my sanity rn as I am using a USB-C link cable like everyone else but the PC says “USB-3 recommended” and the app thinks the cable is a USB-2???? Like wadafak oculus now I can’t play DCS 💀😭🙏
Why use the wire ? You can do it without wires.
Oh yeah. It looks good alright a bit blurry They should fix that, but it's default.
Well i dont think id use cable for this. Just stream via wifi. 1gb ought to be enough
Realizing the vid was made exactly a year ago😭😭
Tried to play that kayaking game, my poor 3060 TI suffered through it
Red flags flutter in celebration of China’s National Day The magnificent mountains and rivers sing of peace and prosperity Vcity Wishing China continuous progress and prosperity
For pcvr just use a pico 4
Minimum GPU carts?
yea maybe cus its 2000 dollars
What link cable is he using I can't seem to find a good one
Most likely the official Link cable from Meta
Hi can you tell me how to connect the link cable
love the video man I'm your 374 subscriber, glad I found your channel!
@@Freelancer177 thanks dude, I will make more content at some point, life’s just pretty busy at the moment so I’m struggling to find time!
@@Lamfords Thats alright take your time amazing content though higher quality then most videos I have seen recently!👍
Specs?
hows the screen door effect is it alot better then the quest 2
@@tubathecoolkid6919 yep! A lot better
Can someone please help me I have money but I don’t know what to buy I want the best possible PCVR with quest 3 but I know nothing about PC at all
But you’re tied to the computer restricting movement.
i've been for the past 3 months searching for a fix that my cable isnt being detected and it all started to this shtty "debris detected in cable" and now nothing works and i bought virtual desktop and i dont have ethernet GIGABIT TOO and its a fucking headache
Relaxing? Lol I want to be immersed in a 3D world I don't want to do exercise for that I will go outside and exercise
steamvr link is better for quest 2 in my experience
While I plug in to the Pc my VR always running out of battery and it did show charging while playing it . Know any error ?
@@kimtech5317 Annoyingly, the Quest 2/3 can’t get enough power from a PC’s USB to keep the headset from dying. It will slow the battery drain, but it uses it faster than it can charge it. Best option would to be to look at getting a hot swappable battery pack, like the ones from BOBOVR.
Head pain💀
Yo scratch the quest LOOK AT THAT PC!?!?!
The case is wild
But how to link it with steam, i wanna play re village
@@syedaminjazmisysulaiman6286 once it’s connected to your pc, either through a cable or wireless, launch a VR game on steam and it should show up on your headset. RE village won’t work though, as it’s only native VR on the PS5 and PSVR2. Though you can download Praydog’s mod to turn it into VR on PC.
Im so excited for my quest 3
AirLink looks not as good as standalone for me. 5 hours of customer support later and no results lol
Then use the link cable
Sure if you want usb trash for cheap, but there's better options via display port
You are a smooth brain if you use link connect. Its not a supprted feature for over a year now. Steamlink and VD are the only way anyone should play pcvr.
I keep watching videos describing video settings that i can seem to find. Is there some hidden menu option? I want to put my 7900xt to the test 😅
I like to use it with blade and sorcery vr and it is mind blowing
I got a quest 3 using wireless link to virtual desktop and steam vr.. no cables, max settings, it’s been amazing. First experience with VR.. now if only we could get some AAA games
HLA is a real AAA game. So is asgards wrath 2. Into the radius 2 is out, and metro VR is a AAA vr game coming out soon. VR already has a bunch of AAA games and more are on the way.
If you havent yet i really recommend using steam link through the quest 3 to run games for lower latency. While not a triple A game, blade and sorcery (not nomad) just had its full release and is genuinely the coolest experience ive had in a while
@@DACInf see it feels janky to me. Wasn’t a fan.. I use virtual desktop to use steam. It’s by far the best route. You can really crank resolution and bitrate way up.. everything looks 10x better than just using the quest 3 itself.
What's the name of the game ur using rn
You don't need Link Cable. There was an app Virtual Desktop, but now there is Steam Link app which is free. Cable it's always risky to break usb-c port. And come on, cables are boring, Quest 2-3 can work without any cable which makes it much cooler than many other headsets.
