I play violet and the gen 4 remakes, I haven't gotten the dlc for violet so I've only been doing playthroughs of the base game

They added on types to some of the mons in this hack, like my typhlosion is fire/ground not just fire...so I'm assuming maybe blastoise is water/ground or water/steel in this rom

​​​@@Jalteonif Ground then Thunderbolt won't have any effect. Body Slam is Normal type, so it is not very strong against any type. I suspect Blastoise is Water-Steel, since Body Slam was not very effective (less than normal damage) against it. Normal type does less damage to Steel and Rock types.

Magneton evo, it was introduced in gen 4, one of those it evolves when leveled up in a certain location

@jamesnelson8469 the developer of this crystal rom added generation 4 evolutions, hence why I have an electivire on my team now. I used to have a togekiss on the squad which I think might be in some of my earlier vids

Yeah that's the name of the rom hack, it's an updated version. Adds gen 4 evolutions, higher difficulty, the levels keep increasing as you play through the game etc

You can still get rocked if you switch in a slower Pokémon and they get crit and knocked out lol

What no I'm talking about how you can switch for free every time you get a KO and it even tells you what pokemon the opponent is sending in.

No, this mod is with physical/special Split. So ember actually does more damage against that high defensive steal types as ember is special attack and Flame wheel physical

@@Jalteon You didn't need levels, instead of sacking Quilava against Steelix, you should have just swapped to Quagsire immediately, and instead of attempting to use dig, just go with surf immediately. Quilava back in against Scizor, and Quagsire is a free win against both Magnemite and Magneton.

Yeah your right, only thing is her steelix was beefy asf and would of landed the iron tail for a crit ko. This game tends to ignore accuracy stats for opponents moves but "lowers" yours..if Quagmire would of survived...it wasn't guaranteed I was gonna land a surf and Quagmire would of went down the following turn
