How is the surface looking now a few years on ? Has the paint held up okay ?
@@krcright9746 Yeah the door still looks really good paint work has held up and still looks really good, im well pleased i done it plus saved myself loads of money Thanks for taking the time to watch the vid thank you 👊👌👌👍
Hi, do you have to prime the radiator 1st
Hi thanks for stopping by the vid 👌 You can buy an all in one spray so you don't need to prime it. Less work which is perfect, cheers all the best doing yours 👊
Recently, I’m searching for tips to paint the middle inner part of the radiator. I found your good idea to use spray paint. Does the paint spray only from the top reach to the bottom part of the inner middle part?
So fresh 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
@@sophiemelia5025 Thank you very much for stopping by the shorts vid yeah fresh is right and so clean to 👌 👊
What are the 2 upright battens for in the corner please?
Rozmieszczenie identycznie jak u mnie. Dzięki za świetny pokaz. Jutro będę silikonować zlewozmywak,
What tools did you use for this? I have to take up the screed in living room and dining room floors, wondering if i need to buy a breaker or not
10 bags? Is enough for overv1 cube meter
Terrible music
Proper job mate, very proffessional, and we'll explained. For us out here in diy land drilling and fixing anything to a wall can turn into one big headache, but your video at least gives us options. Many thanks, Atb, Stuart UK.
Thanks mate and thanks for the kind words really dose mean alot to me 👌👊👍 Yeah it's nice to have different fixing options for a job, that's why I did the vid and hopefully help people out there who don't know the options thanks man appreciate your comment loads 👍 👊🫡
Great tutorial, but please next time don't put distracting music over the top of things. Makes it harder to hear you clearly and (in my opinion) adds nothing to the video.
I definitely questioned how you were going to finish the end of that concrete hopefully it doesn't become a trip hazard😢.. but awesome video thank you for your time 🙏😊
Thank you for your time to watch the vid mate really do appreciate that alot 💯 👊 Definitely no trip hazard with that finish mate worked out perfect 👌 👍🫡
See on mine, the plastic part at the top that you detached and reattached the cord to has broken. Does that mean a whole new light fitting or can I get away with just the cord?
Shouldn't have bothered making the video if all you were going to be showing was your hands and not the installation process.
I’d suggest getting a tripod, the camera work was awful made my head spin 😂 but great info and your door looks superb
@@sallysmith4231 Thanks for watching appreciate your feedback 👍
We can’t see
immpressive ! 👌 What did you use to fill the gap between the top of the beam and the underside of the brick above ? thanks in advance 💪
My building provider is 35e for 1200 but only 20e for 1000... Can't be that much difference? Its only for inside a bike shed wall.
mate you rough as guts pulling that skirting board. But amazing advice
@@martiruda Thanks mate 👊
Thank you excellent video 😊
@@christophermccarthy6889 Thank you very much mate nice one 👍 🫡👊
Music here?
Ty cunningham - scabies baby
@@Jayjamie thank you!
Excellent tutorial. I guess thunderbolt is another word for concrete bolts. The thunderbolt you used was a M10 which is why you drilled a 8mm diameter hole.
@@Goorney Thanks for your kind words mate and for stopping by the vid 👍 , yeah the thunderbolt gives you a really strong fixing 💯 I call them concrete bolts to cheers for the feedback appreciate it alot 👍👊
Its helps using a really good brick but tbf that pointing was spot on
@@Patrick-d1j8f Thanks mate and yeah your right there 💯 Thanks for stopping by and for the kind words appreciate it alot 👍 👊
Your work looks great throughout your videos! I personally wouldn’t of filled the drainage channel with mortar and definitely wouldn’t allow the mortar to touch the end of the lattes, in years to come when the mortar has had its day it could potentially rot the end of the battens
The only problem with this is the smell from the drains are free to come up through the drain as there is no trap to stop it. You need to put a trap to stop this.
Check out the comments I've explained the whole setup afew times now but thanks for taking the time to watch the vid 👍👊
Iv just painted my floor with polyurethane paint about 4 days ago does it go hard or stay soft like rubber if so is there anything I could paint over it to make it a hard surface as I’m putting my bikes on Stands on it thanks
Sorry for late reply must of missed your comment Yeah the paint will dry hard and should be OK for light traffic it's a very durable paint hope yours turned out OK thanks for taking the time to watch the video 👍👊
Thank you for posting that. Perfect idea for a skim over my sound but unsightly concrete driveway.
Great video just did my radiator and bath
@@MarkCooper-y1t Thanks for the kind words mate nice one 👍 👊 you did your bath 🛁 that is awesome 👌 that would be a great vid don't know how long the paint in the bath would last but never say never 👍👊😉
Your hands ain't showing, ain't seeing what you doing
Great job... Nice colour... would that work over a fake wood work door?
Very good level witch is the most importent thing. If the level aint right the dont matter how good you lay the slab, its a shit job
Never put cross joints and never have more then 1800 mm joints
😮 OMG
Every single thing he’s showing you is wrong
It’s a case of if it doesn’t move silicon it you don’t need silicon render stainless steel bowl not if it’s fixed properly what a mess
Thanks man
@@PingpongPoof-c3r thank you man 👍👌👌 and thanks for watching the vid really do appreciate it alot 👍 👊
Try to stop back smell?
On ne voit pas comme tu as fait
European regulations require cables to be run through conduits. By burying the cables directly into the wall, it will be impossible to pull a cable if a fault occurs in the future, necessitating the chasing of the wall again. Additionally, using an extension plug instead of installing a wall socket is completely unacceptable. This doesn't look like a proper job, mate. To be honest, more like a bodge job!
Great video! Done the same myself now - thanks for the tips! Appreciate it
Thanks mate nice of you to say 👌👌 I'm pleased you got it sorted and used some of my tips that's great man all the best and thank you 👍👊
How’d it hold up?
Thanks for stopping by the vid thank you ,yeah it still looks really good like brand new great paint 👍👌👊
Great content matey
This was a great help. I’m a carpenter over 50 years and now retired. I’ve done quite serious work in the wet trades with acceptable results. Always looking for techniques with the wet trades and you’ve given me some more! Thank you. Love the fibre mix and the admixture tips, especially for external patches like these. I bought a poker for pouring my basement walls and worked out great. I just wondered if you’d perhaps use some form of vibration in placing your patch here, not overly much but some to consolidate? Obviously not a 2” poker but what I don’t know.
Thanks man this is a really nice of you to say great comment shout out to all the old school carpenters out there my dad is one he's 76 now 👍 Yeah a poker is a great tool to use when your doing concrete with steel in it the mesh I used was only 10mm thick and the vibration of the tamp did the pokers work for me you never stop learning mate and me personally I like to learn then it never leaves you ,Thank you very much for stopping by the vid and I hope you have a fantastic retirement you go easy man you've done your bit 👏👏👏👏👌👌👌🫡 All the best thanks 👊
Thank you so much for this very clear video. I followed along to shorten the blinds I bought with tapes, and I couldn't be happier with the result.
Thank you so much for watching and for your kind words 👌👌👌 I've got to pin 📌 your comment it's so nice I'm well pleased yours turned out great that is happy days, thank you and all the best to you 🫡👊
Where can i buy one?
I've had mine so long mate I can't remember where i got it from if you Google 90cm stainless Steel water blade with led lights you will find it thanks for watching mate nice one 👍 👊
Not helpful, I can't see what you are doing, Bad work
Why do you use your finger instead of a spatula? I'm asking because I want to do it in my kitchen, but I'm afraid it won't look good if I do it with my finger. Thank you in advance for your response.
PVA really helps prior to plastering otherwise wall sucks the moisture out of the new plaster and you get cracks like that. I must admit I try not to use an angle grinder (tempting though it is) as it takes days to get all the dust out the room plus tight fitting mask rather than cheap paper ones a must. Hammer and bolster definately more hard work but less fine dust.
@@Ralphs-House Yeah 💯 pva will definitely bond the area mate without a doubt but didn't need it on this job as the mix I used was no need to pva or prime the area but yeah your 💯 spot on in what you say, and thanks for your feedback mate appreciate that alot all the best mate 👍 🫡 👊
Eso es Marte nooo?
Lol 🤣 👊
Useless use,a auger drill bit
@@Antonio-gq6fx Auger drill won't work on this one mate going through pure flint and hogging the drill bit would just snap there OK in soft ground the pecker did a great job man thanks for stopping by anyway 👍
