i love this track sm but i’m not 16 yet and i can’t ride the fast karts so that’s why i go to r1 over in rhode island cause the age is 14+ for 35 mph

I really think you guys should join Tuesday leagues if you're able! It's much more competitive and would bring great racing content to the channel.
We'd love to but getting out there by that time is tough for us since we all work during the week and are over an hour away from the track

@@the3karteteers Yeah I went on April 13th! It was a very spectacular track! Just raced R1 in Rhode Island yesterday on the new layout for the first time, and already got videos posted. Those 2 are probably my favorites! K1 is strict about cameras which sucks lol

Is this place any good? I just came across it and I’ve never been. I go to superchargedct and monza. This track looks way harder than supercharged and pretty much the same difficulty compared to monza.
Also where’s your GoPro attached? High chest?
I've been to Monza and R1 and like them both, R1 is a little longer and Monza has more elevation changes which makes it more fun I guess. In general I like R1 a little more
I went there yesterday and it's fast an fun
We had fun here. The reason we got to Monza so much more is we think the track layout is he best. Also we have a membership so every 5th race we do is free, R1 and supercharged dont offer anything like that. Its also not usually as crowded at supercharged and R1 because those places have so many more activities and are family oriented whereas Monza is really just people coming down from the casino and most days its not overly crowded. None the less R1 is definitely worth the trip. its a great layout and a nice change of pace. TO answer your GoPro question, i have a chin mount on my helmet. I tried the chest setup but it was too low and you couldnt see the track

Fucking guy is like a wall with wheels, it's like hes got a rearview camera and just shuts the door. You got by him the same way I did on the uphill to the 2nd carousel because he oversteers at the bottom of mantown.

Personally I thought it was great. Only thing I wish they would have done is maybe gotten rid of 1 or 2 of the hairpins at the end but other than that its a nice layout. A nice change of pace from Monza every once in a while. I hope you enjoyed it!

Track was tough in the rain. 17:40 mark I saw myself(36). Was coming up behind you on the outside. You looped it unfortunately. Wanted to see what would happen.

where did you mount the camera?
Right on the chin of the helmet. Ive found as far as GoPros go, this is the place for them when karting. It allows for a more 1st person viewing experience as opposed to the camera being on top of the helmet where it just feels like you're sitting so high above everything. If you're like Will and Dex and have a 360 cam, the angle up top isn't as bad, but the GoPro looks better from the chin in my opinion
