These are videos from my recent trips to France, Italy, Germany, Greece, Turkey and the Panama Canal...and I'm working on more. Don't forget to click on the setting icon to select HD for the best viewing quality.
In 2015 I'm heading to Spain and back to France. l'm still thinking of launching a travel blog with tips and suggested itineraries...becasue traveling is what I love to do!
My family lived in France, Australia and the Philippines while I was growing up...plus I spent a college semester studying in Italy. I've lost count of all the places I've been since then. Please subscribe for more information; I'll add the link as soon as it's up and running.

Your videos are truly beautiful. Like traveling back in time.. but a more peaceful version of it :)
Thank you! I’d like to make more, but finding the music (non-copyrighted) is the hardest part,
@@lynettetaylor6420 Have you heard of Epidemic Sound? A lot of my favorite RUclipsrs & Twitch Streamers use their music
@@LittleGeisha23 Thanks! I will look into it!
@@lynettetaylor6420 Awesome! ^-^ Looking forward to seeing your videos again :)
Wow, I will always cheer for you in Korea I'm looking forward to a great video. Have a nice day.

Good Grief. You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Hill Towns? Citadel "type" towns and villages in France are called perched villages....“villages-perchés” . Not Hill towns. L'Isle-sur-la Sorgue? L'Isle-sur-la Sorgue is NOT even IN the Luberon....and it certainly isn't perched. I certainly hope that people don't take your "advice" as authoritative fact.
Well, David, my title comes directly from Rick Steves' travel guide. He calls the above three towns "Hill Towns of the Luberon." Does it really matter so much? I am simply trying to show people what the towns look like. I am not trying to give advice--except to go see them! .
@@lynettetaylor6420 Rick Steves is a salesman who flogs bus tours to people who need to have their destinations dumbed down for them. His "customers" are people who have never been past their local Waffle House & Walmart. So.....inaccurate info means nothing to them...they don't know any better. Rick Steves doesn't speak a word of French.....but if you are going to charge $$$ for your bus tours and nonsense books, shouldn't you at least TRY and provide accurate information?
@@davidmassie765 Perhaps you are right, but, when planning trips to Europe, I have found Rick Steves' books and videos to be pretty helpful. Do you have an alternate suggestion?
No hay palabras... Es simplemente hermoso
Gracias!
Thanks that was great!

Good night...would love to see the lavender in bloom! I have one in a pot...never seen so many! Also, the irises...I have a cluster of four in front of my house...a field of irises...WOW! Great video, don’t need to go after this comprehensive viewing!
Thank you! Yes, the lavender is quite a sight. And the smell! And all the bees! Sad that it's so hard to travel right now...I'm glad you enjoyed my photos!
Lovely video, so glad I watched it. I visited St Remy too and had poignant moments retracing his steps. The truth was the St Paul asylum wasn't much of a treatment place for psychiatric patients back then. But it's just amazing that he was so prolific during his time there despite his tormented soul.
What a beautiful creation of man I hope to go there and see the place amazing
👌👌👍👍🏝🏖💕magnifique
Merci! L

Thank you sooo much for this video....i felt like i know these places...i just got connected with van gogh for 4 mins. Love from India!

Thank you. I like Arles. I was there a year ago.
No offense, but was expecting actual video footage, not a montage of pictures
I don't do videos. I prefer still photography. The idea is to give you a feel for the village. It is definitely worth a visit...but I'm sorry if I made you waste three and a half minutes of your time! 😕
Very nice 👌
Thank you!
Thanks for your wonderful video! My wife and I are planning to visit Rossillon next spring but now everything is on hold. We hope we can go.
Bel posto!
J'espère pouvoir visiter un jour la petite ville vernazza d'autant plus , je porte son nom.😘💖🌹
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing this with all of us. My father's side of the family was from Vieste. My Dad and his older sister, Jenny, spent seven years of their childhood in Vieste. It's where my Dad learned barbering, which is how he earned his living and provided for our family of nine children. God bless him! Some day (God willing), I'd love to visit.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I hope you get to visit it sometime, as it's truly a magical place!
Thank you So beautiful
One little thing about "van gogh's" bedroom, it's not his bedroom. The building in which his bedroom was is demolished.
Van Gogh stayed at the Saint Paul de Mausole monastery in Saint Remy from May 1889 to May 1890. This is the original building. The "bedroom" is a reconstruction. You might be thinking of the yellow house in Arles which no longer exists.
@@lynettetaylor6420 I hate to burst your bubble, but it is NOT the room where van Gogh stayed, it's just for tourists. Just like the ice baths outside the door, those are also not the ones used for van gogh.
@@miepmiepzoefzoef Does it really matter? The signs clearly state that they are "replicas," not the originals.
@@lynettetaylor6420 I did not see that sign. I did pay entry to van goghs room and all the signs said van goghs room. It's only later I found out van gogh slept in a different area which has been demolished. I felt a bit screwed.
@@miepmiepzoefzoef Oh, I understand! Well, look at it this way: he did stay at the monastery, and he did walk the grounds and create many beautiful paintings there. So even though you might not have stood in his actual bedroom, you certainly walked through the halls and gardens where he had been!
BLESSINGS TO YOU! PEACE!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! UNBELIEVABLY INCREDIBLE! VERY MUCH APPRECIATED! BLESSINGS TO YOU!
Thank you!

We just booked the same B and B for June. We are using it for a base during our travels in Provence. Lovely video
You will love it!
@@lynettetaylor6420 what time of year were you there?
@@richardperkins3460 We were also there in June. We used a Rick Steves guide book to plan our itinerary. There's so much to see!
Hi Lynette, I am trying to hunt down some references for Andrew Allen, architect in Brittany. Did you have work done by him? If so, I would love to chat with you!
Hi Jill. No, we were just visiting...can't wait to get back to France!
Sehr liebevoll gemacht, danke !
Wow wonderful video...thoroughly enjoyed! Thanks for sharing.
I find it a little bit sad that none of his painting are in Provence. He spent a huge portion of his life there so one would expect at least few paintings. Instead, all of them are scattered all over the world. We even have one in Prague for some reason!
Agreed!
I agree! It is sad.
I would've to see all this someday. Thanks.
Thank you, R Robert!
Hermoso lugar, acabo de llegar de esa region y quede maravillada. La proxima vez dedicare mas tiempo para recorrer cada pueblito, ya q fui de visita solo un dia y visite los 5 y tambien Portovenere.
Hello Lynette Taylor, Vaison la Romaine belongs to the region Provence Alps Cote d'Azur, and not Rhones Alpes, and Côtes du Rhones and the appellation of the red wine ,you made two mistakes
Thanks for the info!
It is amazing that thee is anything left at all considering how stupid humanity is and being the thieves that they are and lazy looking for a free lunch and we should be thankful for what is still to be seen that all of it was not plundered till there was no trace at all , I read somewhere that there was some ancient Greek structure which is now in Europe in a German Museum I think and is was being broken up for the lime or something to do some industrial process , so all the complaining today from these countries about the theft of their culture which is crap as they are not the same as these ancient people should be ignored as most of it would not have survived into the modern era at the rate is was being destroyed .
My friend Ernie and my husband have been to all these places. My heart aches to be back. Everywhere one looks is a subject for a painting. I love the south of France!
Thanks much for the video. I've been to several of the places, but many years ago. Your well made video is like a revisit.
