I am pretty sure that I had a similar issue with my Quanum Nova with the GoPro wireless app on. Actually TWO times this has happened. First I was out in an open field and started flying while using the GoPro app on my phone as a poor man's FPV. The flight only lasted about 10 seconds before the copter went directly into a RTL mode as failsafe and came back to land. The second time I was trying to use the GoPro App again and out of nowhere my copter RACED upward in altitude as if i had slammed the throttle all the way to 100%. Unfortunately i was testing this in my basement so the copter slammed into the ceiling and broke the outer shell. I dont trust the Wifi App being on with my GoPro while i fly anymore! It seems to be the only common denominator in the only two instances like this i have experienced with my Quanum.

thanks Mike! I usually edit my videos to stay under 3 minutes but the editing reduces the video image quality so this time I just uploaded the raw video straight from the GoPro. It didn't make much difference. The compression to upload onto You Tube makes it a bit blurry.

Why is there always a "halo" around the aircraft's shadow? Anyone else notice that? The area around the shadow is brighter. I always spot that when I fly.

What evidence do you have that the GoPro was responsible for the crash??? What radio do you use??? I've been using GoPro wifi for several years on my F550 and have never had any interference... I also use the DJI ground station on my F550 which is also on 2.4ghz without any problems. If you setup your equipment properly and don't use cheap crappy radios like the old dsm spektrum or the turnigy stuff you won't have any problems.
