For years, I have loved singing. But after my brother was killed a few months ago, ( 04/01/2024) my heart was full of pain, and i did not know how I was going to take the pain away.
Then one morning God gave me a song as I was doing school drop offs in the morning.
As soon as I got back home, I started recording that particular song, and God gave me songs every time my heart was full of pain.
I am not saying the pain of my brother’s death has gone away, I am saying I know where to find comfort when I feel overwhelmed by his loss.
Music is my happy place! And now my new happy place is nature ( the outdoors). I find total peace!
Lamentations 3:20-23

I will never forget this awful time,
as I grieve over my loss.
Yet I still dare to hope
when I remember this:
The faithful love of the Lord never ends!
His mercies never cease.
Great is his faithfulness;
his mercies begin afresh each morning.

Strong Winds this morning
The purpose of praise and worship is to create a connection between you and the Lord. It's a way to do spiritual warfare, which is critical in a believer's life. You know the enemy prowls around like a lion waiting to devour (1 Peter 5:8). The enemy has tried me from every corner this year alone!!!, but every time I get attacks I run to God and ask him for a song or two or more… And God always fights for me!
