These pens are very smooth when writing. As far as the tip getting a blob of ink, I have not had that experience, yet. Gel pens all have the possibility of a blowout, or severe leak. I have had many brands and only a few problems. I much prefer gel pens to a ballpoint or fountain pen.

Oh they do! I wonder if they take the same ink as the uniball one pens. They look very similar.

@@Genevieve1023 The thread lock is right below the end of the clip hardware. Just physically feel from the tip until noticing the textured surface had ended before the smooth surface started. This is where thread lock is located at. Just 1/3rd away down from top of the pen.

They have slowly been making it out. It takes a while in my area. The company took a while to release it after they announced it too.

I don’t think so. The cartridges are sealed specifically to keep the ink from leaking. Even though they do their best, sometimes a pen will blowout.

thankyou..but can you tell me some of the cheap refills what will fit into pilot g2 eg.engergel etc should i buy engergel..do u think it should fit into pilot g2 @@AmyBuller
